Are the benefits at Wal-mart any good?
I will start working third shift at Wal-mart in two weeks and I am really concerned about their family medical benefits. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Why kill these brown bears for no reason?
CBS news ran a segment on these brown bears in Alaska that have no fear of humans so people can photograph them or view them in their natural habitat. Next year throphy hunters will be allowed to murder these animals just for the trill of the kill. Oppose Hunting of Brown Bears Near the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary, Alaska.
A young bear looked to Bowen for a little help with other, bigger, bears who wanted his fish. Guides shooed him off, but retired sanctuary manager Larry Aumiller said it's another sign that these are not your average bears.
"They're so confident and so unconcerned about us and what we're going to do, that they're relaxed enough to play," Aumiller says. "It's great."
Therein lies the problem. McNeil's bears may be too relaxed for what's about to happen, when, one year from now, adjacent buffer zones that protect them will be opened to trophy hunters. It's led Aumiller to retire, because he fears he's set the bears up for disaster.
He says, "When you finally get there, and they finally trust you, and you know that trust is going to be violated, I don't know how to describe it except to say it's heartbreaking."
You can find this story cbsnews.com This is a horrible situation please read if you are an animal lover.

5 AnswersCivic Participation1 decade agoWhat is a born again christian?
I'm sure their are many people who think they know but like myself know some one born again but that doesn't mean I understand their religion. I am sincere and would like to understand. I realize I’ll get some wacko answers but that is to be expected. Thank you for all who take the time to answer.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow come there aren't more people arrested for driving dangerously?
I have noticed that driving on any interstate is getting more and more dangerous everyday. Is it because the people driving are playing video racing games and they don’t understand that when there is an actual crash people in fact people get seriously injured or die? Do they watch movies glorifying reckless driving that are staged by professional stunt crews and think they have acquired these super driving skills through some bizarre form of video-osmosis? Do they watch professional racing and assume they have acquired the skills of driving professionally by watching the sport on television? What is the solution? Do we need more police officers patrolling our nation’s highway? Do we need higher fines or suspended licences? Is the Department of Transportation studying this problem and is there a solution in the foreseeable future? Lots there but I am truly interested in this topic. Thank you for your answers.

There are so many different opinions and a lot of anger from every side of an issue here each day. Just curious as to where people get the news or the facts. Please don't tell me where the “other” people get the news let them speak for themselves. This is just a general question.
28 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoShould we all serve in the military?
At the legal age of 18 everyone would serve two years then would be required to serve two weeks every year until 60 years of age. Unless you were medically disabled or suffered a severe handicap you would not have to serve. Just a thought and you can add to it or make changes. I just wanted to get the ball rolling. This isn't a master plan by any means, just a thought.

I have 10 small thumbnail images on a single web page, how can I get them to come up in a small window individually so the viewer can see a larger image and then close the window? This will be similar to a popup window but I want the person to be able to open by clicking on the thumbnail then and then close the window with a mouse click.
