I'm minding a friend's house and I came in today and her orange/mandarin tree was just snapped in half, is there any way to fix this? Does anyone why this happened?

i made popcorn the other day using grapeseed oil, the popcorn didn't burn or anything, but now there's this weird layer on the bottom of the pot.

it feels sticky. brillo pad won't budge it.

anyone know how to get it off?

hello, i'm in the process of creating my portfolio for an illustration course. the website for the course suggests this

"Sketchbooks:work should show artistic/cultural interests."

i'm not exactly clear on what that means; can anyone can give me an example of what i should be making for that section?

i'm trying to remember a tv show or movie i watched recently where the dad in it invents board games for a living. it's driving me crazy!

i need to make images of buildings look like they're in space invaders. the buildings need to be simple (almost outlines or stencils, but still recognizable) and they also need to be pixelated, but i can't seem to get my head around doing this. help if you can!

i have a goldfish. i cleaned her tank about two days ago, i usually just give it a rinse a put fresh water in it, i've been doing this for the 15 years i've had her.

this morning she was floating on the top and looked like she was about to die. the water was cloudy so i cleaned it again, and put her back into it, but she began to look sick again! i think it could be a bacterial bloom, but i don't know much about that. also, i have a 2 year old nephew who likes to feed her, i'm wondering if he's overfed her while we weren't looking

i took her out of her tank and put her in the sink with one of the stones from her tank. i'm not sure what to do now. please help, i love my fish, and i don't want her to die!

i've had my goldfish daphne for about 15 years now. recently my father got an old fish tank off one of his friends and gave it to me. it's huge, and daphne will have a great time swimming in it, the problem is that it had mice in it before hand, and i'm wondering how will i clean so it will be suitable for my fish and not have any mice germs in it.

my father suggested milton and i had a look at that in the shop, but it says it's harmful to "aquatic organisms", so i don't want to risk it.

any [non toxic to fish] ideas? thanks!
