  • How to get patches of dried glue out of a fleece blanket?

I received a free sherpa/fleece blanket for making a purchase, didn't expect the quality to be great as it was free but it turns out the blanket is actually decent quality and very soft. The only issue is that there are several patches of hard glue in the fleece. I tried bringing it back to the store but the blankets are no longer in stock. I want to try and save this blanket, but I'm worried if I wash it I'll ruin the blanket. Any recommendations for getting the glue out?

  • Solutions to winter scalp with colored hair?

I have colored hair (dark brown almost black) and would like to make my color last as long as possible. However I suffer from dry, itchy, flakey scalp in the winter and everything I've tried to help it has either faded my color or done nothing at all. I typically was my hair every 3-4 days. Any longer and my hair gets disgusting and greasy, and any shorter and my scalp is too dry and even more itchy and flakey.

I'm on a budget so I would prefer something that's easy to find at a drugstore, but I'm also desperate so I'll consider looking beyond that. (I've tried diy masks and learned I'm not great at that so I would rather just buy something all ready made).

  • How to get my scared dog to go potty?

My dog gets spooked by strong gusts of wind, loud noises, heavy rain, and wild animals. In these situations she tucks her tale and runs to the door. It usually takes a couple hours to a full day (depending on how spooked she was) to get her to pee outside. I’ve tried reassuring her and also bribing her with treats and toys but to no avail. She ends up peeing in the house. (She’s too big for those potty pads).

Any advice for getting my dog to overcome her fears or any tips for how I can help her feel more comfortable would be greatly appreciated.

  • I'm trying to remember the name of this movie but I can only sort of remember the plot line. Can anybody help me out?

The female lead was previously hurt by a boyfriend who wrote a book about her and ruined her career and the male lead is a singer songwriter. I forget how they meet but she ends up helping him write a song for this 'eccentric' but slightly insane singer (pretty sure her character was inspired by Brittney Spears and Lindsey Lohan). There's a scene where the lead female is helping the lead male write this song and decides he needs to rearrange his apartment, and another where he convinces her to sing the vocals for the demo. It's cliche, so they fall in love. They give the demo to the singer who decides to change it entirely. the female lead wants to tell her it's terrible, the male lead thinks the female lead shouldn't say anything, they fight, she leaves, he becomes a washed up singer doing small gigs. She gets a job working at a hair salon? The male lead shows up to try and make amends but I'm pretty sure she turned him down. He eventually becomes big, he gets a spot singing with the crazy singer. He sings the song that he and the female lead wrote. She is at the concert, hears it, they fall in love again.

That's about it, it's been a while since I saw it. I've tried googling it but all that came up were Once and Begin Again both directed by John Carney. I watched the trailers but I don't think it was either of them. Does anybody know what this movie is?

  • There is an Egyptian/Assyrian belief that the higher you are the closer you are to the gods, but what is the name of this belief?

I'm writing a paper for a class comparing Assyrian and Egyptians, but I'm having trouble finding the name for this belief. Its the reason Ziggurats and pyramids were built. I know the Egyptians were Zoroastrainstic but I'm not sure if that's the same belief as hight equaling divinity. does anyone know?

  • Can someone explain to me the role of a Hare Nome in Egyptian times?

I m writing a paper for my art history class on a piece called King Menkaure, the goddess Hathor, and the deified Hare nome . I have found plenty on the king and the goddess but everything I find on the Hare Nome is vague, every other word is Egyptian so i m having difficultly understanding things. • If I delete the back up for an old phone will it delete everything on that phone and anything that was moved to my new one?

Got a new phone recently and now my icloud is telling me it's almost full. Will deleting my old backup affect things that were moved to my new phone? My new phone has a back up now but some of the stuff on my new phone was transferred from my old phone. I don't want to loose everything but I also don't want to spend money for more space. what else can I do to make more space?

  • is a sweater dress okay for a casual interview?

I have an interview at the local grocery store, they said to dress business casual. I'm not sure what to wear because everything I own seems too formal or too slouchy. My friend suggested I wear my sweater dress, and pair it with black tights and knee high boots. She wears similar outfits as a restaurant host, but I'm not sure it's appropriate for an interview. The interview is pretty casual from what I've heard, but I don't want to come off as lazy, even though I've been told people have gone in wearing nice jeans and a t-shirt. So would the sweater dress be okay?

  • Replacing an Iphone 5c battery?

For the past few months my phones been dying at 15 percent and recently as high as 28 percent. I've noticed that it's battery life has also been getting shorter. I used to be able to go 2 days without charging, and now I find I have to charge it twice a day. I've had my phone for about 2 or 3 years so I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or not. I'm thinking the battery needs to be replace.

I originally got my phone from Verizon but it's an apple so does it matter what store I go to to get it fixed? Which would charge less? I've seen relatively cheap kits to do it yourself, but I'd probably just ruin my phone instead. Would I be better off replacing my phone? Replacing is honestly the last thing I want to do, call me overly attached, but if a new battery cost the equivalent of a new phone then I might as well replace the entire phone.
