It can't be that impossible in San Francisco where I live to find a girl I want to be in relationship with. It seems like every girl I run into either have a bf or doesn't seem interested in dating me. Am I doing something wrong here? I'm 23, in college, have a good social life, working, and I don't believe I'm boring, a bad looking guy nor do I have a bad personality. What do I possibly have to do to get a girlfriend in the city?

Not sure if I should get it when it comes out. Looks really sleek and clean and it gets 100 miles on a charge but still waiting on the cost. What do you guys think?

I'm at a point now where with climate change and reducing energy usage, manual, do-it-yourself cranking products are becoming attractive to me. I have no clue how I did not grow up with them in the first place! I'm talking products like manual crank-up coffee grinder, wind-up radio/cell phone charger, hand crank paper shredder, hand crank meat mixers, ice cream makers, etc. These things are great since they can be used anywhere, eco-friendly and it's cheap/affordable. Anybody else out there a big fan of anything hand crank or want to add something to the list of products?

I for one DO NOT think that this thing does or should qualify for an EV. I mean who are these guys fooling when there is a gasoline generator on board along with an electric motor? This think should be a plug in hybrid or at best range extended electric/gasoline car separate from the EV category. The electric vehicle category should be reserved for REAL EV cars that are just that electric powered 100% by batteries alone. I bet GM just want this car under the EV category just so they can jack up the price for these hybrids a little to make a little more money off the consumers while telling them they can make up the cost by taking the Federal Tax credits offered to EV buyers as well as keeping us somewhat on oil. Once again these guys just keeps yanking our chains and giving us something more expensive than a Nissan Leaf while claiming it to be an electric vehicle? Who else here feels the same way?

There's too many electronics that I don't want or need such as gps, navigation, power windows, etc. I just want a simple car without all the bells and whistles that will keep the cost of the car and electric consumption low. So anybody thinks that there will be such a model sometime next year or two?

I'm in the market now to buy a new TV after 20 years of use of my CRT television which is now showing signs of failure. I would like to get a TV (26" or 27" only please) that is the best quality that will last me a long time and price will not matter. I heard Sony's are good but I am open to other suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I'm a college student, and I'm filing taxes for the first time - and I have a question on how to file scholarships and such. I have a scholarship for full tuition and books, and then I have a Pell Grant and other need/merit-based grants which cover my room and board. So basically - I pay nothing for college, but am I supposed to report my grants as taxable income? I'm confused on how I should deal with this because including my grants as income would mean that I owe $500 in taxes - but I received that money from the government to begin with... so why should I give it back?

I didn't receive a W-2 or any forms for the grants, although I can view my 1098-T online. I know my scholarship for tuition and books is tax-free, but any insight on what I should do regarding the grants for room and board?

Green is something that if u like that color its supoose to be your color.

now im not tryin to hate on those environmentalist that work really hard to make this world a cleaner place but i just hate how they would use it for their campaigns and their catchy phrases. "Go Green" this and "Go Green" that. y cant they leave that color alone!! why not just use eco-friendly or sustainable? wutz worse is its even getting to where corporations are using that word for their advertisment. i dont know but does anybody else feel the same way?

its an mp3 player but the thing that makes it eco-friendly is u can generate ur own power by cranking it up. would u guys ever consider buying this since this is not only eco-friendly but also very unique from those other mp3s?

I think they are going in the right direction by investing alot of money to make solar energy competitive to coal and other fossil fuels within years and not decades.
