Starting Monday we want to do something everyday to show our support and encourage a coworker to do well on her boards. She is taking her test to become a licensed vet tech. Doesn't have to be anything big everyday just wanting to show our support. On the last day we will bring a good luck card and cake. I am going to bring animal cupcakes one day. Just looking for some ideas, she is a great technician and I'm sure she will pass but we just want her to know we are supporting her and give her some confidence. Any fun ideas? Thank you

Our tree normally drops thousands of walnuts every year, which is a pain cleaning up but it is so big it shades the entire front half of our house. This year we've only had a few walnuts and then mid July the tree started dropping leaves. The lowest branches are getting quite bare. The tree is at least 50 years old. Probably quite a bit older. I would hate to lose it.

I just got one for Christmas and he is awesome. We are still deciding on a name for him and have a few in mind. Can anyone give me personal advise about care, handling and feeding. We bought a book but I would like personal experience advise also. Thanks

I made lemon chicken last night for some guests that are staying overnight. I made homemade noodles and mushroom gravy to go with it. I sauteed my mushrooms and then added my thickening. Everything was going fine till I poured in some of my homemade chicken broth. After I poured it in I realized it had gone bad. Real bad, so I kinda panicked and poured the pan into a colander. I didn't know what to do when my friend came in and said are these the mushrooms for the gravy and put them back in the pan and added the chicken broth for me. I added more thickening and it actually turned out very good, but I worried all night about someone getting sick or salmonella or whatever you get. Now everyone wants me to make biscuits and the leftover gravy for breakfast. What do I do???

We stayed at an older motel on Route 66 in Missouri from late Wednesday night till Saturday morning. There was an envelope left for a tip for housekeeping. The rent was $65.00 a night and all they did make the beds (not change the bedding), empty the trash and replace used towels. What would the proper tip have been?

She a white mark on her chest and little white feet. She is small even for a chihuahua. She was an abused dog that we rescued. She was very timid and scared to begin with but sweet as can be now. She loves to be held and loved.

He is on blood thinners since then. He returned to work right away and has been doing very well. He was working on a cow today and the cow got loose and stomped him real good. His leg was very bruised and he had bruises on his midsection as well. This happened about 1:00 this afternoon and now I rec'd a call saying he is in the emergency room. They can't seem to get the swelling in his leg down. I guess my question is how worried should I be. I really am concerned about him.

I need to make a litter box treat with vanilla sandwich cookies crumbled up to make the litter and then put in tootsie rolls. I am also supposed to make a box with chocolate sandwich cookies with gummy worms and tic tacs (to represent maggots.) The kids will have gloves on to dig thru this to teach them about what is in dirt and litter in a fun way and also teach hygene. I'm trying to think of anything else I can put in there. Does anyone have any ideas?

My son is a college student living in a dorm. Whenever we have casseroles I freeze them and send home with him so that he can heat these in the microwave for later. I made roast beef and cooked whole potatoes with it. Will this re-heat ok?

it is an automatic with the shift on the floor. It normally shifts easily even when it's single digit temperature but once the temp is below 0 when I start it in the morning the gear shift will not move. It takes more than 1/2 an hour of warming it up before it will shift out of park. Does it sound like something is wrong or is this normal
