Good nail place in Indianapolis?
Anybody know of a good nail place in Indianapolis? I had acrylic nails put on at a place but they turned yellow, never looked good when filled in at the cuticles, and the person putting them on actually cut a couple areas around a finger or two which hurt! I live on the south/east side.
2 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoKitty Cat Scratches in Wood?
I have a beautiful banister in my home. Unfortunately, my kitty cat thinks it's a scratching post!! Now I've got deep, very thin, kitty nail scratches in my banister. Is there any way to somehow cover these up so the wood doesn't look so gnarled? The wood is stained, so the lighter wood underneath shows thru the scratched areas. :(

3 AnswersYahoo Profiles1 decade agoWhy does science "have" to explain religion?
Only serious answers, please. :) I have been wondering about this - we don't ask the art world to explain physics. :) As a college graduate married to a Ph.D. chemist, we are intelligent people and NOT blind-faith Christians - but we ARE Christians, and I have always loved astronomy - but it seems like people in the science world reject religion a lot. I know I'm generalizing - any thoughts on the issue?? I'd love to hear your opinions! :)
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat do athiests believe?
I'm not trying to put anybody down, and I guess others have asked this - but I'm asking it from a totally (looking for honest answers viewpoint). Is there an athiest creed or do different athiests have different views? (I think Judiasm has different beliefs w/in itself). Again, I'm not judging or trying to judge - I'm just curious. All honest answers appreciated!!!

7 AnswersTelevision1 decade agoWhy is Yahoo Answers a place to Christian bash?
I'm seeing some of the most ridiculous questions and generalizations - like ALL Christians are evil, Christianity is evil, etc. If we generalized about a race of people by saying the same things, it would be seen as HORRIBLE. Yet people can ask ridiculous questions that bash Christians because it's the thing to do right now. As a whole, look at all the charity Christian organizations do!!! Much more than "secularists" do, or any other religions do. On the whole, Christianity is a wonderful religion that does lots of good throughout the world. Nobody is "making" you be a Christian. Nobody can "force" you. That's why we have free will - God only wants you on his team if you "want" to be. I don't understand why you want to "bash" Christianity. If you don't want to be a Christian, I feel sorry for you, but cannot force you. Why do you waste your time bashing all things Christian? Don't you have better things to do???
30 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCan modern-day Jews trace their ancestry back to the 12 tribes of Israel?
In reading the first few books of the Bible, the detail is astounding regarding census records ancient Jewish people kept. I'm wondering if Jews today know which tribe they decend from??
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI'm looking for a book I read as a kid...?
It was a small book, with a hard cover, and was about a girl who sat in front of a window with wet hair trying to catch pneumonia - it might have been a horror book (but was a children's book because it was in the school library in the elementary school). I don't know what it was called or who wrote it. Can anybody help??
