When sony released the ps3 it was $500-$600 with lower specs...they said they had to take backwards compatibility off for they could sell the ps3 cheaper and so they could profit, but now a ps3 is only $200? so in theory they'd be losing money every ps3 they sold...now the ps4 is coming out with way higher specs for $400.00...I don't see how that is possible especially in making a profit, did everyone get cheated with the ps3? or are they hoping to make it up with their PS Plus ploy?
