3 AnswersElections9 years agoWhirlpool Gas Dryer not continually heating throughout cycle?
Our dryer kicks on, spins and heats up, but does not continually heat throughout the cycle. Most of the time it takes 3 cycles to get the clothes dried. The vent is clear. Any clue as to which part I need to replace or test?
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years agoWill you be happy if the U.S. Gov't takes over BP and jails all their top exec's for twenty years plus fines?
Being they are the 4th largest multi-national in the world and the devastation they've caused is impossible to calculate--I'm thinking we should own all their assets and make em all prisoner's of environmental war.
7 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoI have a warrant for my arrest based on hearing notice of which I never recieved or knew of?
The court sent a hearing notice to an address that I did not give them, that same notice was never sent to the appropriate address in duplicate that they have on file--which I never changed. Can a warrant for my arrest be challenged on those grounds??
5 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoIf you don't receive notice of a hearing and have a warrant issued regardless?
Is the warrant legitimate in the eyes of the law? Mi's Friend of the Court sent me a show-cause hearing notice to a miscellaneous location so I never received it or knew about it's existence until after it was over and a warrant was issued for my arrest. Is the warrant legit?

3 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat do you think of Bush's S-chip "Veto" threat and his proposed changes for the program in his budget?
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/62576.php
Not only does he want to "veto" a proposal that helps the most helpless among us, his new budget calls for stricter requirements for applicants and further reductions to a program that actually works!!!----by comparison, one month's War spending would fund the program for 5 YEARS!!
Can this Presidency get any more disgusting??????
9 AnswersPolitics1 decade ago13 GOP Reps give the WhiteHouse a big "FA-Q and your rhetoric", is Petraeus their new fall guy/war czar?
13 GOP Representatives had an impromptu meeting at the WhiteHouse where they simply stated that their districts constituents are ready to accept defeat and that any future comments from White House correspondents lack credibility unless they come from the mouth of General Petraeus. Considering all the ineptitude that has surfaced regarding Chimpy and his puppetfukstick Gov't---How ya like the chances for a withdrawal now?
1 AnswerPolitics1 decade agoHow did you like Tony Snow's claim that the occupation in Iraq has no bearing on emergency efforts?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20070508/...
Governor Sebelius made light of the problems with the Kansas National guard years ago. In her talks with the Resident Commander Guy she told of the severe limitations of the Kansas National Guard including the lack of manpower, emergency vehicles, and response needs that would be unmet if an emergency occurred. Bush promised to address her concerns in last years budget--and of course, nothing was slated.
And no, that does not mean we need to bring back the "Decider"--LOL

http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2007/05/07/tenet...
As he whored himself out on the Talk-show circuit he failed to inform the public that he's making money hand over fist from Defense Contractor's operating in Iraq and under contract by the DHS.
I'm sure as he was deciding his moral obligations to our Country those giant money bags had no influence on his decisions--BALONEY!!
Can you say, "Conflict of Interest"?
I don't think you'll see ole Georgey boy promoting his wares any longer.
1 AnswerPolitics1 decade agoWhy can't this ADM figure out how to disperse Aid to the Katrina victims without red tape hang-ups?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/artic...
NINETEEN month's since the tragedy occurred and only a QUARTER of the Aid that is sitting there has been doled out!!
How would like to be challenged with survival for TWO YEARS without any help?
Some of the funding has finally reached educational institutions and is beginning to be dispersed, yet the majority lies tied up in a beauracracy that can't figure out how to spend the money. The fact is, those agencies that have been chosen to dole out aid are doing so, but only after they take a chunk for Administrative costs. Profiting from this tragedy-inexcusable. The Bush-Clinton Foundation got their 25 million. Red Cross--25 million and of course a group of 10 Faith based organizations that have failed to achieve any of their goals received a chunk of millions too.
Haliburton and Blackwater got their money--why can't the victims get theirs too?
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIsn't it convenient that the UN's latest 1/4 ly report of Iraqi civilian death figures is absent of figures?
Injuries and deaths to our troops from this past quarter are at an all time high. The Iraqi ministry of health is not releasing it's civilian casualty numbers--which traditionally have been readily available to the world, but somehow, mysteriously, those numbers are absent in the UN's latest report.

4 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoIs it No Child Left Behind or is it No Brother of Bush or fellow Bushies Left Behind?
http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/06_42...
Follow the money--and the reasoning for anything the President proposes becomes perfectly clear. Apparently bankrupting an S&L is the necessary qualification to receive a multi-million dollar no-bid contract--being the President's brother Neil helps a little too!!
Of course he wants Congress to renew his No Child Left Behind legislation--Why would he want his brother to be unemployed again? Nevermind the program is nothing but an absolute failure. It's a perfectly legal racket to feed the Bushie Businesses who are profiting from it's inception.

4 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoHow do you like the latest failure of Bush Adm/Pentagon regarding it's way to resolve the conflict in Iraq?
http://www.kansascity.com/105/story/77599.html
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12317121/
The Top Priority in getting our troops out of Iraq stated by the Pentagon and this Administration is getting the Iraqi Military trained and ready to police the country. Low and Behold--Bush has given up on the number one benchmark towards allowing the Iraqi's to gain Independance. From here on out the salvation of their nation has been placed squarely on the back of our troops.
How can anyone possible defend these clueless, corrupt, obfuscating bastards!!

The money is there in the current bill--So why does Bush threaten to Veto it?How can his veto be contrived as the Dems fault?
Bush's spin on this bill is ludicris. He wants to talk, but not negotiate-What is he supplying an all you can eat buffet so that the Dems will give him an all the money he wants bill?
He claims that our troops will endure extended tours and quicker redeployments. How does he fail to recognize that this practice has been going on for quite some time now? Is he that absent minded of current going's on at the Pentagon?
He says that troop training will be delayed. He's had 4 yrs to get the Iraqi troops ready to defend their own, stories of undertrained troops being deployed and killed have been all over the net--Next excuse please Mr. Bush.
This time let's hear the one where you take responsibility for your ADMINISTRATIONS FAILURES TO GET US OUT OF IRAQ!!!
4 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoIs the Poisoned Pet Food scandal a scary enough example of how our lax FDA guidlines can kill us next?
I want to believe that the whole thing was an unfortunate accident, but as it is traced to China-- we can't expect a full disclosure as to how the source was actually introduced or if it was an actual accident. Here's the scary part. If you read up on the last couple years of the FDA's performance plans--there is no mention of increasing their efforts to inspect imported foods despite the fact that the number of foods being imported is skyrocketing.
