First off, I'm not pregnant in real life. I had a dream last night that I was pregnant with my friend's baby. In the dream I told everyone it was another guy's baby to basically keep him out of it. I kept watching him and I was amazed that everyone believed this lie. What does this dream mean?

For the longest time I've really liked this guy. I would consider him one of my best friends. We spend a lot of time together and talk about almost everything. I'm pretty sure he's gay but I liked him before I actually found that out. After that, I realised that I genuinely had strong feelings for him. We always say we love each other but there are obvious boundaries that won't be crossed. It's really making me upset that I feel like I can tell him everything but I'm too afraid to tell him how I really feel. I'm afraid that I'll lose him as a friend or that we won't be as comfortable with each other if the information is out there. I really feel like I love him and I don't know what to do. Any help?

I haven't watched that many TV shows or movies recently and I usually pass of weird dreams as a reaction to having seen certain things. This dream freaked me out a lot.

I was in my house but, in the dream, it wasn't my house. I was with two young boys and a man was lying on the couch. I am an adult and I knew this man was bad. He was watching the three of use while the owner was gone. I assume that in some way I was related to the owner. I knew all the sordid details of his personal life (in the dream) and I decided that I was the one responsible for protecting these boys and myself. I stood up and started yelling at him and telling him that I knew everything (that he was a paedophile) and that I wasn't going to let him get away with it. He didn't care but he kept grabbing my wrist while I continued to scream at him. I wanted the boys to believe me but they didn't say a word during the dream. When the owner came back, I ran into the kitchen to tell them what I knew and that he was bad. I saw myself in the dream for the first time and I believe that I transformed into a child in a matter of seconds. The child looked nothing like me. She had long, thin strawberry blonde (but closer to red) hair. She was wearing a purple hat and jacket. I was crying and trying to tell her but she wouldn't believe me. The entire time she kept her head down. I felt as though she thought I was making it up. I cried and cried and begged her to believe me but she wouldn't. Through the dream, "Anthrax" by Kimya Dawson was playing in the background.

I don't know any of the people I saw in the dream and I have never come across any characters such as the grown man.

Any feedback would be great because it scared me.

Long story short, I didn't fall but I hit a tile floor pretty hard with my left side and then my back. Soon after, I started getting this pain on my left hand side. It's around the chest and below it. It started kind of painful and when it went away, I got a really bad headache that's been annoying me all night. The pressure in my side is duller now but I feel that I'm not breathing quite normally. I was fine until about 30 minutes after the fall. Any ideas what could be going on? Thank you

I have strong feelings for a friend and I don't think I can tell him. He's seeing someone and it's extremely awkward. I love him so much and I feel that if I ever work up the courage to tell him, our friendship would never recover. I've known him for a long time and it upsets me that I can't tell him because I'm terrified that I'll lose him as a friend. We're very close as it is and when I'm with him he makes me feel so comfortable and I enjoy spending time with him. Any advice? Thank you

I'm not really that into dream analysis but this dream was just odd. The other night, I had a dream that this guy I had known in the past had died. In real life I haven't seen him for years and I never think about him because I just don't. Last night, I had a dream that he was now dying. He had some kind of illness, possibly cancer but I can't be sure. In both of the dreams I didn't see him and I just knew. Any idea what this means?

It's unfinished and it's just a quick thing. I'm not a poet by any means.

It may have been a movie or a TV show. It's been driving me crazy because I don't remember what it's from. These men are fighting and one says to another: "What are you? The angel on his right shoulder or the devil on his left?!"

It's pretty vague and I can't find it on Google. Any ideas?

To start, this has been going on for years and nothing has been done about it. As a child, my uncle and his wife would always say that I wasn't part of their family. My cousin used to corner my sister and tell her that she had no connection to the family whatsoever. They always treated us as if we were just nuisances and that we didn't belong at all. Our cousin basically bullied us and her parents pushed her to do so. We never did anything to them and there's no reason to be so horrible. The other day, a relative was visiting and I went to see her. To my surprise, my two aunts (who I didn't know every well) were so nice and treated us like family (which was quite stunning considered the amount of torment I went through in childhood with other family members). Then, my cousin called and was obviously annoyed that we were visiting her and had to, once again, take over the entire conversation. She used to do it as a child and she's an adult now. It was horrible to be completely ignored and have no one really take notice that they were being so nasty. They would turn their heads whenever I came up in a conversation. They're being ridiculous and I'm absolutely sick of it.

I know it doesn't sound like something to get upset over, but a lot more had happened. They actually turned my half-brothers against me and my sister. I'm an adult now and I feel that something has to be done but I'm not quite sure what I can do. Is it some sort of jealousy or just being spiteful?

I don't count these people as family since they never treated me as such.

P.S. I'm sorry I went on and on. I'm just a bit upset about it.

For the last week, I haven't slept through an entire night. I'm up at least three times every night. I sometimes have night terrors but not very often. I wake up and it takes a very long time to sleep again. Last night was the worst of all. I went to sleep and I awoke about three times in an hour because of a night terror. I awoke to hear people having conversations and I got up several times. I was up from about 1am until 6am. After that I awoke a few times and eventually got up at 9am. Am I suffering from insomnia or just something else?

There's a particular ad for What To Expect When You're Expecting. The song has a few people singing it and it's very upbeat. The only line I know goes something like "and we're never far behind when my--" and then I don't know. Any help?

I live next to an elderly woman who has several daughters. One of her daughters is particularly bothersome. She's constantly shouting at our dog and on several occasions has yelled at everyone in our household. We've contacted the police before and they said to call if she repeats this behaviour. Tonight a dog was barking outside (not our dog), she walked outside and started yelling and swearing at our dog. My mother went outside and confronted her about her behaviour. She began to threaten my mother and then went back inside her mother's house. You see, she doesn't actually live there...merely treats it like a hotel. Her own mother has even stated that she has threatened her and absolutely nothing was done about it. I'm sick of this happening. Do I contact the police or should I go another way about it? Any advice will be great!

I was actually heartbroken when I read the news. It came as such a shock. How'd you feel when you heard?

Well, I was having this dream and when I woke, I awoke in another dream. It was like I was awake and I even remembered this other dream. Then I actually woke up. I know it's a bit confusing. What causes dreams to occur within dreams?

It was a very long dream and I can only remember the end. I was in my old school. It was a large area of the school where the students could take a break. Instead of students there were these detectives but I felt that I was one of them. We were each handed a yellow index card with typed writing on it (but I couldn't read it). I turned around and saw a drinking fountain that there was a small line for. I wanted to wash my hands but by the time I reached the fountain, there was no top on it...it was basically a sink. I noticed that everyone else was soaking these yellow index cards in the water and a man noted that I wasn't. When I turned around, I saw a bigger man in a grey tracksuit talking to two guys. I could see he was angry and I dove to the ground. I was hiding behind desks before anyone else but I warned people around me to get down. He pulled out two guns and began to shoot. I thought I was in seriously bad situation so I ran and hopped over a bannister to get to an escape. I was running outside and saw a giant wave heading towards the school, and suddenly there was one inside the school...it was more of a wave. This water didn't hit me at all. As I was running down a path, suddenly there was a sand/dust storm that I got caught in. I could barely breathe. Once I reached the main road, I began to walk back towards the school. As I did, I could hear the voice of an actor over the intercom but the school was in complete silence.

Any interpretations?

I just bought a new guitar today, it's one that's smaller than usual. Anyways, when I was tuning it, I heard a weird noise and I thought that I had broken the string. I attempted to remove the string which proved difficult and when I realised that it didn't snap, I began to turn the tuning peg. I noticed that on the inside, when I turned the tuning peg, the white bar that the string wraps around didn't move and wouldn't go into tune. I think it may be loose. My question: should I try to fix this or just get a refund? I bought it today and I guess I could go tomorrow.

Well, I left an art school because it wasn't what I thought it would be. They were very strict and they didn't care for wild ideas. Anywho, as I have been looking for work, I've noticed that I get a lot of ideas for stories, books, drawings. Then, the other day, I received a letter from a personal hero and I decided to paint my ukulele in a Mystery Science Theater 3000 design. It actually looks kind of cool. Could I actually make decent money painting instruments on the side? It may just be a silly idea but I'd like your thoughts. Thank you!

If you're not open to the 'paranormal' stuff, please just leave it. I know saying that "something" bad is going to happen isn't very exact. I just can't shake this feeling and it worries me so much. The other day when I arrived home, my mother said I had missed a call. The first thing that popped into my head for some reason was that someone had landed themselves in hospital. Turns out it wasn't anything important but ever since then I just can't shake this feeling that something bad is going to happen to someone I know and care for. Any ideas on how to chill out and stop worrying? At least for a little while?

This dream wasn't worrying or anything, just out of the ordinary in my mind. It's only one part of my dream so it's not much.

I was sitting in a bus, waiting for it to leave the depot. Where I live, you can ask the bus driver to wait a moment if someone's running late, but for some reason this was a city bus. I saw my sister and my friend (they have never met each other) walk into the depot and I was annoyed because I thought they wouldn't make the bus. A few minutes passed and the bus began to the leave the depot. They were just standing there watching the bus leave. Before it reached the road, I hopped off the bus and took a long route around the depot. It was nighttime and it was raining. When I reached them, they apologized for missing the bus. My friend was wearing a suit that was very ill-fitted.
