Wha gwaan?? Unlike some others that browse around from topic to topic like they know everything, I like to stick with what I know, and that's Jamaica. It's my home away from home and I'm not afraid to call out anyone who wants to give the island a bad reputation based on B.S. heresay. Try me. My expertise lies in the realm of Jamaican history, politics, music, and culture. Feel free to e-mail me personally with questions about the island, I will always reply. ONE LOVE. And remember..."ONE LOVE" has nothing to do with uppity tourists with poor attitudes or people who are too scared to leave the resort. Mi nah care fi dem.

  • What Do Jamaicans Think About the Reggae Artist 'Collie Buddz'?

Since he's from bermuda and all, I was wondering if he is widely accepted in the dancehall? I've heard him several times, spun by DJ's, but only in touristy areas.

  • Sweet Reggea Music!!!!?

I recently had to replace my computer and therefore rebuild my ipod library. I spent yesterday on Limewire mass downloading reggea and other music. What I'm looking for from you fine people is your take on great reggea. Please, don't hesitate to list some of your favorite songs and artists, new and old skool, I love it all.

I have approx 600 or so reggea songs in my library thus far, but I am still not satisfied. I know I'm missing some crucial reggea. So, I'm sure I'll get some good answers on this but my 10 pts are going to the person who suggests those rare must have songs. Don't even bother mentioning any songs from Marley affialiates or songs that are obviously in my library already.

Also, don't bother including links to other sites with answers like, "Check out {link here} for good reggea suggestions", OK? I want your personal opinion, I don't need help searching the web for reggea. So, GO WILD!!

  • What will become of Jamaica?

Now that I've heard that Jamaica has taken on the responsiblity of sheltering homeless Haitians, what will Jamaica be like?? Exactly how many people is Jamaica willing to take in out of the 1.5 million homeless? This could have serious effects on Jamaican society as many Hatians will most likely stay there. It will take a lot of time and money that Haiti doesn't have to cleanup/rebuild the affected parts of the country. By the time any reconstruction has taken place, Haitians will most likely have set up a somewhat comfortable living establishment. Please give me your thoughts as I don't know a lot about what's going on with regards to this subject, very concerned however.

  • Why do gamers bother with PC?

I have read a million questions pertaining to games on the PC. Why do you people bother? True, there are titles on PC that are out for other next gen consoles which are better to play on the PC, but not many. Questions that begin like "I just downloaded blah blah blah for PC and blah blah blah blah blah. If you aren't playing the Sims or some MMORPG then do yourself a favor and get in the now. Go buy a console for god's sake. Better graphics and sound quality (barely) are not even close to enough to get me to spend $2000+ dollars on a computer that can't even handle a decent gaming library. So I ask again, why???

  • JLP vs. PNP Which one is right for Jamaica? Why?

I know I could spark some controversey with this question but I wanted to get a better idea of what Jamaican people and others thought of each party. Can we unite Jamaica and stop the killing? Please respond.
