I will be a freshman at UCSB in the fall. They run on the quarter system. I am a Biology major. What should I be expecting my total expenses for textbooks next year?

So i need a specific instance where it was better that a person betrayed his country over a friend. the opposite would be brutus and cassius killing ceasar.

Yahoo answers can be used for many good questions. homework help, random knowledge answers, generation of ideas, questions you may not be able to go anywhere specific for etc. there are lots of these questions.

but...

there seems to be too many people asking the same questions regarding singles and dating. The story goes like this. you click the link for some reason or another. You begin to read the vaguely familiar short novel about their current problem, he doesnt like me or she doesnt notice me. or whatever. you get bored and go back. then you see the same type of question posted over and over again.

Now i understand the problems that people can have with other people and their lovers. but i ask, are all of these nearly identical questions neccesary. Does this bother anybody besides me? does anybody else think that yahoo answers should be less littered with these?

I have just seen the preview for The Watchmen, it look okay. While i was walking through the bookstore i saw the actual book. It claimed to be one of time magazines best 100 novels of all time.

Now, as a reader who is into more serious books, would this book be good? I do not know anybody who has read it, so any help would be appreciated.

the other day i was driving on the freeway (I-5 in the Sacramento Area) and there was a large net hung under some electrical wires that ran perpendicular to the freeway. It was slightly dark, and i am not sure if they were really nets, but they looked like it.

Any ideas as to what these are and why they are there?

I took the October SAT and got my results. I was happy with them, but in the math section, it says that I did not emit any answers but i am sure that i emitted exactly two. Only that i tried to erase the bubble and they would not erase quickly.

How much would my score improve if i emmitted two questions rather than got them wrong?

When you are so sure that youre speciefic god exists, what do you consider about other faiths.

Say a devout Catholic only believes in the traditional god. What do they thing about the muslim idea of god?

And also, if you were raised to believe in a different religion would you believe in that?

I think that there is a specific word for this, any synonym would be helpful.

What do you think about the people that say they have seen UFO's and aliens on the Unexplained Mysteries and other UFO shows. Are they actors, crazy, or do they just think they saw somthing. I do believe in extraterrestrial life, but their stories seem too perfect and unreliable.

Did they actually improve the economy in any recognizable way.

So i had this small little bump in my earlobe for a while. It felt like a very small hard bean. recently it has became surrounded by fluids and is causing the backside of my earlobe to scab mildly. I have never had my ear pierced or anything like that.
