The Watchmen for a more serious reader?
I have just seen the preview for The Watchmen, it look okay. While i was walking through the bookstore i saw the actual book. It claimed to be one of time magazines best 100 novels of all time.
Now, as a reader who is into more serious books, would this book be good? I do not know anybody who has read it, so any help would be appreciated.

The graphic novel would be an interesting diversion from more serious literature .

It is a very serious story reflecting on many serious subjects like murder, rape, and war. People have been naive about the seriousness and quality of comics for years. Don't ignore graphic novels just because they have pictures.
