Hawaii's water isn't fluoridated, so cavities are rampant here. So 8 yrs of anorexia (malnourishment, chronic dehydration, occasional purging) & depression so bad I'd go days/weeks btwn tooth brushing, most of my teeth are decayed in some form. 2 molars are so bad that my old metal fillings & half the tooth crumbled away to just dentin. 2 others were that bad but got pulled last year. It hurt so bad my ears rang & I'd scream & cry.

It wouldnt've got this bad had i been able to see a dentist for the past 6 yr! So a year ago my dad used credit cards to pay for exams, xrays, 2 fillings, & 2 $1000+ root canals w/only temp composite as we can't afford crowns. This was only possible cuz my dentist let us do a payment plan (no other dentists do that). But now we're too far behind on payments so he won't see me.

I still have all this painful crap. What can I do at home to slow down the damage? Besides good dental hygiene, benzocaine & eugenol for pain, & temp filling/ZOE? I'll do anything! I'll order stuff online & I am capable (dentist was shocked at how well Id put temp filling in, he thought a dentist had done it & said I should pursue dental school)!

Please don't say "just go to a dentist". I want to, ASAP! But that'll be no time soon! No access to money or credit/loans. There's no state coverage or free dentists for the poor. The ER/hospital dentist, dental school, & charity don't do root canals/major work. There are no options, now its just down to harm reduction.

A cavity formed next to a filling & decayed all around it. A month ago it came out, breaking my tooth & exposing the inside. The pain is so bad that only oxycodone dulls it. With 1/3rd of the tooth gone there's no 'hole' to fill with DenTemp.

After 2 days of rapid worsening, it peaked 3 hours ago. It may be the most severe pain I've ever felt. I tried to scrape out the "bad" dentin, flush the area, use benzocaine tooth gel, take extra oxycodone & advil. Idk what to do.

Please don't say "just go to a dentist". I WANT to but have no money, credit cards, or anyone to borrow from. Dental schools here only discount for cleanings. No dentists here will do emergency payment plan (one does a sliding scale but the lowest price is still too much, & theres a 6 month wait anyway). I have state healthcare/Medicaid but even in emergencies, they only cover tooth pulling PROCEDURE (not the anesthesia, x-rays, etc).

My dad can pay for 1 dentist visit & a filling for now (for one of my milder cavities), but I think this one needs a crown or root canal which is too expensive. But it's 3 AM Sunday morning & my appointment isn't til Tuesday 5PM anyway. I'm shaking and crying in pain & if I tried to take enough of my pills to relieve it, it'd be too much & I'd run out early! There must be some way to put me out of this misery! Please help!

Found this about 8x12 inch plastic bag in the shed. Grey powder... unsure if cement, plaster, etc. No labels, nothing printed on the bag, nothing at all.

How can I figure out what it is?

I.e. maybe I could mix a little bit with water and set it out to see if it hardens lime cement, etc... if I can do that, what ratio should I try mixing?

What order should I put it in? The only jobs that look good on my resume are #1 and #2 but I don't want to only have 2 jobs on my resume so I probably should put the other 2 jobs right?

I have so many different kinds... Vitamin B6, Biotin, Liver Cleanse, Libido boosting, Fiber, Vitamin C drink mix, MycoDefense mushroom immunity, Tamanu Oil, Elderberry Extract, Propolis Extract, Hoodia appetite control, Hawaiian Spirulina tablets, Spirulina and Green Tea drink mix, etc. All this natural stuff!

A lot of them have really high price tags (in store prices)... some still have the tamper evident seal intact; some have been opened but only one dose taken out... (this is bcuz they were mostly bought for my BF by his mom, who d tell him about it then open it & give him a dose... which is the only time he everhas taken any. And yes we ve tried to get her to stop buying them, but she still does).

What can I do with all this stuff besides just throw it all away? Sell, donate... can I put them up on LetGo or OfferUp, is that allowed?

If, for example I'm making a purchase at a retail store and they realize that a $20 that I handed them is fake... I guess they would either call the police or just question me themselves... but either way, if I truly didn't know it was counterfeit, what happens? (? 1)

I am asking out of curiosity because this almost happened to me, except I realized the bill was fake and threw it away before spending it (I was handling my money with wet hands and my $20 bill's ink started bleeding! It was a crappy photocopy!). I couldn't for the life of me figure out where I had gotten it from. The only ideas were from a tiny convenience store/corner store in a low income neighborhood that may or may not have illegal gambling machines in the back, or from the woman who's daughter I babysat that lives in the building above the convenience store (I think she might be involved some sort of illegal activities like gambling or drugs)... those are the only sources that are shady enough for me to consider the bill cam from but I just can't say for sure. If I accidentally used it and got caught I wouldn't want to say it was the woman, because if it was from her I would say without a doubt that she didn't know it was fake either.

I am 22, female, a NEET (not in education, employment, or training). I was laid off at my job at a kindergarten last summer (at 2 school years, it was the first job i kept for more than a few weeks, and I got to work alongside my mom. I was good at it and It gave me fulfillment & financial stability). Im dependent on my bf in every aspect.. driver, rent payer... He cant go out without me calling & getting a panic attack if he doesn't answer. Im depressed. We rarely have sex, I have no motivation to shower or tidy up. I dont have one single friend and I dont leave the house unless I beg my bf to take me along with him on errands. I only sleep 4 nights a week bc I dont burn off enough energy to sleep. I am certain I have OCD &/or Asperger's Syndrome. I dont have a passion so I have no motivation for college. I have mild interests but not enough to keep me there. I've failed or dropped out 3x when I was 16 and 18. I have no sense of community or belonging and im so lost and confused about my life.

I cant ask him for the PIN directly because a) I dont know him, and b) I'm told that he's abroad with no way to be contacted (I purchased it from his brother).

I've heard many people complain about undesired weight gain from birth control pills. Well I DESIRE weight gain as I have lost too much weight (I'm 5'2 and have went from 90 to 72 lbs). I haven't taken birth control in a year cause it stopped making me menstruate (the whole reason I was taking it) and because my spouse and I weren't having sex.

If I start taking it again, could it make me gain weight? Could it bring my libido back? And if it doesn't give me my period, is that ok? Should I still take it?

I always feel this crawly sensation on my arms that feels like a fly landing on me, but there is no fly. Usually I brush the area with my hand, because if I look close there is usually a cat hair or a hair from my head on the itchy spot. It seems like when a hair or cat hair lands on my arm, my body hairs sense the light touch as a bug, maybe? Do u think shaving will help this? I have a lot of arm hairs.

My boyfriend bought a moped from someone cheap, but it is hot wired to start without a key. Apparently it was stolen from the original owner, and when he got it back from the cops, it had been messed with by the thief. He tried to get it fixed (control panel, I think), but could not afford it, so he sold it to my bf. But we want to fix it because it is just asking to be stolen! We can only afford to pay a family acquaintance handyman, but would rather fix/repair it ourselves if it's not super difficult.

I borrowed my grandma's car, Toyota Corolla (1997-99 I think?) this AM. Didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I parked, then pulled up the emergency brake / handbrake (the kind in the center console, a lever with a button at the tip, push button in then pull lever up).

Now, 7 hours later, she goes to take my sister to work, and can't get the handbrake down! We tried pulling really hard, pulling at different angles and pushing down, pushing in, pressing button in diff angles, pulling up *before* pushing button, putting car in neutral, slamming door, hitting button with hammer, etc.

DAMN BUTTON won't push! It seems more that it is "locked" or "doesn't want to go" rather than "stuck/jammed". This car has had problems with steering wheel "locking up" before too.

My gma thinks I yanked it up too hard but i did nothing any different than usual at all! What could've caused this? And HOW CAN I FIX IT!!?

My spouse has a surplus of them,as he just ended work as a newspaper delivery driver. They are 22 x 9 inches, so they are too narrow to fit in any wastebasket.

He had to pay his own money to get them, so I want to find a good use for them. I would ideally want to use them for a DIY project or household purpose, but if anything, recycling is okay. If there is somewhere to sell or donate them that would put them to good use, that would be even better!

Any ideas?

(Also, any creative ideas what to do with extra newspaper? I hate to add to the landfills but you can only add so mauch newspaper into worm compost bins).

My spouse just discontinued working for the newspaper (delivery driver), and has a surplus of the clear plastic bags that they use to bag the papers with. Theyre 22 inches long and 9 inches wide, so they are too narrow to fit in any wastebasket.

He had to pay his own money to get them, so I dont just want to only use them for litter box poop scoop bags, we have so many!

I was tired of cat hair and little tiny fibers getting on my dishes, eew! So I bought new dishcloths... microfiber (the super soft kind) and "bar mops", a thin sort of Terry cloth they use in restaurant dish washing. I am washing them for the first time and want to get all that stuff off. Ideas?

I don't have dental coverage ("quest" low income health care, only covers dental up to age 21). but I have cavities and a spacing problem that are affecting my life. I can't afford to pay for a dental visit... I can't even afford tank to keep my gas tank above E. so is there any way at all to get some of my cavities fixed?

I tried volunteering at a dentistry school for the students to practice on, but that's only for cleanings. And my health insurance only does emergency extractions (with no false teeth to replace them)... most of the cavities don't hurt but a few do, sometimes severely.

I don't have any credit to take out a loan, and my parents are poor too. I don't have a way to get dental insurance but I wouldn't be able to pay the monthly bill anyway.

What can be done?
