How to avoid text scrunchup after editing?
I often post maths answers, but if I see a small mistake after posting and go back to edit the result, it loses its neat formatting and all the lines run into eachother making it difficult to read.
Can we request that the scrunching policy be changed or that a "no reformatt" option be available ?

2 AnswersMathematics8 years agoIs it OK and is there a formula relating the kinetic energy of a single molecule to its absolute temperature?
The temperature of a gas is related to its mean kinetic energy - I forget how - I wonder how few the number of molecules can be for this to hold up. This subject is thermodynamics but physicists might have a view.

I would like to be able to produce 3D images of, for example intersection of paraboloid with a cone, based on entering equations.
I have not tried this before so if any of you could suggest a stable and effective graphing program, (online or download), I would be grateful.
