Has Huggies quality deteriorated?
I have always bought huggies diapers for my baby (he is 1 year old now). And have been satisfied with the quality so far. However I bought a big pack of size 3 diapers recently from costco and noticed that the diapers are much thinner this time. The past 4-5 months I have never had to change my baby's diaper at night. He went at least 9-10 hours without a change. But with the new ones, I have to change him in the middle of the night. Has anyone had the same issue? I am thinking about writing to Huggies about it. I'd rather pay a little more than have bad quality diapers!
14 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoFlu shot when babay has a cold?
My baby has a little cold for the past few days. But I need to give him his flu shot today, as we are travelling out of the country this coming Friday. So if I get the shot today, we'll still have 3 days in case he gets a little fever from the shot. I was just wondering if it's OK to give him a flu shot when he has a cold. Please help.
6 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoIs it OK to co-sleep with your baby when you are sick (and baby is too)?
I have a 10-month old baby who is a little sick...he has a little cold and is coughing. I am also a little under the weather myself. I slept with him last night, so that I could nurse him each time he woke up from a congested nose or cough etc. But then I am wondering if he will catch my germs? Should I not co-sleep while I am sick?
10 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoExtended Breastfeeding?
I am still nursing my 8-month old son, and wish to continue doing it for as long as my baby wants to. But people around me are already asking me when I am planning to stop. I thought it was really common to breastfeed for at least a year. Any moms here who have breastfed their babies long term?
Also, I am a working mom (full-time), so I'd appreciate if anyone has any tips for me to be able to continue breastfeeding long-term while working.
11 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoFrozen breastmilk?
I tried giving my baby some frozen breastmilk (frozen since 2 months) and my baby is not very excited...he drank it, but took forever. Usually he drinks the bottle in 5 minutes, but this one took 1/2 hour with a lot of coaxing. I smelled the milk and there was no offensive or sour smell. Did anyone have a similar problem?
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoHas anyone taken a 6-month old baby swimming?
How is the experience? Is it fun? I am thinking of taking my 6 month old son to mommy and me classes at the Fremont Swim School. Is it worth paying $17 a class? Did your baby enjoy it?
