Sometimes when I come home from work I notice a very pungent smell of garlic or Onions, it's not like it when I leave and can only assume it is coming from our drains. I don't use a lot of Garlic but my Neighbour uses a hell of a lot. can anyone suggest what I could do to stop this smell from penetrating my whole house. anything apart from air freshners I have them everywhere about 2 in each room, I have a real thing for bad smells.

I am thinking about selling up in the UK to open up a bed and breakfast in the US. I have thoughts of what I would like to do etc but am not sure how I would find a house and go about setting up the business.

I would obviously have to have visas etc but I'm not worried about that at the moment as I am just trying to put ideas of whether the business would be possible.

I have just found from another answer that Maxjet fly from Stansted to Las Vegas. Has anyone used this service and if so what did you think of it? I'm quite interested in their pricing as they are more reasonable than virgin, and closer to home for me.

I heard on the radio on the way home from work today that you will soon not be able to sing your countries national anthem at sporting events etc but will have to sing the European National anthem.

did anyone know that Europe had a national anthem ? they put up a comp on the radio for the first person to phone in and sing it to them.

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I have lost a piece of expensive jewellery that was handed to me around a year ago. I am wondering if I can claim for this on my house insurance ? it's never going to replace this jewllrey as it belonged to my late father, but my mum thinks that I should claim on the insurance.

does anyone know if this is something that I could do? do you think the insurance company will pay out on this. I don't know the value of this but I'm sure I can find something of the same value I guess.
