Howdy everyone.

My boyfriend's left eye lid has been painful and achy for about 3 days now. On day two we noticed that his eye lid was drooping and puffy. This morning it was crusty and still very puffy and red. His insurance is not covered in the current state we are located. We could go to the ER with a 150 copay but he is insisting that there is no problem. I am concerned because it has only gotten worse over the past few days. I have been putting hot compresses and small amounts of castor oil but to no avail. The free clinic in our area does not cover face or eye issues..bummer. I'm about to drag him to the doctor against his will. I was just curious if any one has had a similar issue? His vision was slightly blurred for a good while this morning which really concerns me. I think it may be some type of infection.. not sure. Any ideas? Thanks.

So the delta size limit for checked baggage is a total of 62 inches for length width and height.. my suitcase is exactly 62 inches. It is normally like 25 bucks to check a bag, but if your bag exceeds the size limit it is 175! I don't have another suitcase and I am broke college student trying to get home for the holidays. Do you think the airport will give me grief? Even if I start to cry? How strict are they?

I was at the movies a little while ago and saw the most interesting preview. I think it was something like the government was doing underground testing and communicating with aliens and the aliens eyes were blurred out and it was kind of creepy.. but i can't recall the name of the movie. does anyone know what it is?

My head is extremely achy and my ears are filled up so it's hard to hear. My tongue hurts and also feels slightly swollen and it hurts to swallow. What do I have and do I need to go to the doctor right away? Cause that's not an option I have to wait like a week. I made homemade chicken noodle soup and I've had lots of orange juice and elderberry. Any other suggestions?

Hello there, I was wondering if anyone could tell what the best alternatives are for the Peace Corps. The reason the Peace Corps doesn't work for me, Is that i want to go out right after high school and the Peace Corps is looking for people who have a 4 year college degree. I want to be abroad for about a year or so, the length of the Peace Corps doesn't bother me I would be willing to serve with them if they would take me. I've looked in to Americorps which is the only alternative i know of but i would kind of like to leave the united states and help others abroad. So basically I'm looking for a Peace Corps type program that i can qualify for right out of high school.

Last night I fell off of a futon and landed on my right hand/arm area. This morning it is a tad swollen but not really that bad and it isn't black or blue or anything like that. It hurts if you push down on it hard or if try to do a thumbs up, but i can clench my fist together and use it even though it kind of hurts. Do you think i really need to go to a doctor and get it x-rayed cause i'm short on money.. it really doesn't seem that bad because i can move my hand fine it's just tender and a tad swollen.

i have some really shady shadester neighbors who are some what of scam artists. They are always coming around asking for little jobs to make money, which I'm fine with but recently they came to shovel some snow and i gave them $10 and they just took the money and did absolutely nothing. I've seen them spying through my window and they have asked to barrow computer supplies because they know i have laptops.. basically they are just pretty rude and shady haha. Could i put a fake security sticker in my window or would i get in trouble? Also where might i find a sticker?

My wrist has felt like I've sprained it or something, but I can't recall injuring it at all. It hurts to bend it backwards like if I was doing push ups or helping myself get up. It also makes a popping noise when i move it in circles and up and down. Any ideas on what's wrong? The pain started about 3 days ago.

i'm going to kings island but the ticket is already paid for and the odds of me getting souvenirs are slim cause they are tacky.. i might have to eat there but hopefully not i'm planning on bringing my own snacks. and then the next day we might go to a museum and a baseball game which are being paid for. i'm going with my friends family and i don't know how much money i need to cover extra expenses and what not. estimates please?

next week i've decided i'm going to have a giant picnic at a local park with all my friends kind of as a celebration to the weather changing and stuff. probably at least 30 people or something. but i don't want to make sandwiches and stuff for every one so i was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what kinds of foods i should bring and drinks and stuff and like how much of everything cause i don't want to run out and i'm terrible at estimating food for parties. probably at most 45 people so any ideas?

ok, so my birthday is coming up in like the next two weeks and my best friends keeps asking me what he should get me. I don't really want anything in particular but i just got him the best christmas and birthday gift ever so he feels like he has to get me something really special...but the problem is, is that i can't think of anything for him to get me and i already told him a thousand times just to get me something that would mean a lot (not necessarily expensive just really special even hand made) but he's still not sure..i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what i should suggest to him?

i'm going on a like 10 hour bus ride and i wanna watch movies on my mac power book g4 i have two batteries but i was wondering if there is some kind of adapter battery thing that doesn't need to be plugged into a electrical source that i can use so i can watch movies longer...kind of like those things for cell phones when it dies that keeps it alive...

so i was in my friends car and this song came on and i can't quite remember what the lyrics were it was something like "wanna rock" or "gotta rock" and then like a grunt like "uh" or "huh" but it wasn't like a rock song it was more like a dance hip hop kind of song. it's been driving me crazy all week and i don't know what song it is!
