What are the laws in Alabama concerning recording conversations? One was a phone conversation between myself and one other person. The other was an in person conversation between myself and 2 others.

I just bought a zero turn mower with a 19hp kawasaki engine from local dealer. The tractor has 700 hours on it. I was going to start out by changing the oil. Well, the oil is overfilled and smells a little bit like gas. Also, if I take the oil cap/dipstick off, there is some blow by along with a mist of oil. I've had people tell me the motor is shot and others say it's normal to have the blow by on these motors. If not normal then what could be the cause?

The mower starts and runs pretty dang good, doesnt smoke out of tail pipe as far as i can tell, and I paid $3500 for it. A 2010 Gravely Pro 48Z.

I just bought a 2008 John deere 830 Z-trak with 750 hours on it. I happened to start it with the oil cap off and noticed that it was spraying oil and some white smoke out of there. I know this is really bad in diesel engines but what about these?

KBB only does fair, good, very good, and excellent. What's a ballpark estimate of the drop from fair to poor? Mine runs good and rides good but needs a paint job, has a slight oil leak, and the airbag light is on. It has high mileage. I'm 75% sure it qualifies as "fair" but I would like to know "poor" value fir negotiating purposes. Thanks!

It's all original in good running condition but in bad shape as far as interior goes and needs paint job but has no rust or dents in body.

It's a 12 gauge pump shotgun but someone told me its a turkey gun and you can't shoot slugs through it.

I have just bought a house and it turns out that the exit pipe from my house to the tank was busted out. Also, the tank was full causing all of our waste for 6 weeks to dump in our crawlspace. We didn't notice it until about a week ago when it started to smell in our house I crawled under the house and saw what looks like around 2 months worth of feces, water, toilet tissue, etc... I have had someone come and fix the issue temporary but all I knew to do about the crawlspace was to shovel some of it out and spray the water hose now I am lost. What can I do to try and get my family by? Maybe just wait till it all dries up and that's all? Please someone give me some advise because we spent our entire life savings to get into this house and the home inspection didn't point this out. Home inspectors only give you the $300 back that you paid them when they miss things. Thanks in advance.

Ok. The house we are looking at did not have central heat/air. The owner installed a 2 ton heil package unit (the house is 1200 sq ft with 8 ft ceilings). The duct work under the house is all flex duct. The plenum is a 24 inch flex duct with 4 runs coming off of it that are all about 25 ft long and are also flex duct. The plenum is laying on the ground and the runs are held to the joist every 4 ft or so by a fabric strap. In between the straps there is about 5-6 inches of sag in the flex duct. In your professional opinion, is this acceptable procedure?

I am buying a house in an area where Infinity/Comcast doesnt offer service. I am wondering if anyone knows which internet providers offer fast enough internet for online gaming in more rural areas so I can check with them and see if my new house is in their service area. The house is not in the sticks, just on the outskirts of a tiny town and is right off a major highway, if that helps.

We are looking to buy a house. One house we really want was a foreclosure that an agent bought and updated. New windows, appliances, bath and kitchen fixtures, new HVAC system. Of these things, which come with warranties and are they transferrable to me if I buy the house? The house is not cheap. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

We are looking for a house. What are the major things that i need to check on the house? So far, I have been looking at Hvac age, roof age, and windows. Alot of the homes have old windows (wood) but are painted up nice. Any tips are appreciated.

We are qualified for an FHA loan on a home. I have heard that FHA appraisers are very strict when looking at a house. Problem is that when we make an offer on a house, they charge $460 for the appraisal. If the home fails to pass we have to pay the $460 again to try another house. Can anyone tell me exactly what the guidelines are on an fha loan? This $460 gets very spendy more than once.

Also, any info or tips on the buying proccess will get you an immediate "best answer".

My puppy had parvo and now is back home but still vomiting. She has to take an antibiotic pill twice a day but when we give her the pill she throws up when we stick our hand in her mouth, thus ruining the pill. Are there any tricks to get the pill in her without doing this? Thanks

My puppy had bloody stool and vomiting for about a 24 hour period last week. The next morning we took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with parvo. They kept her for 3 days on an IV and whatever else. They called and said she was doing better and to come get her. We paid them $500 and went on our way. She still was lethargic with vomiting but we figured they knew more than us so we left. In the 2 days we have had her back home, she is still vomiting foam, she wont eat the canned food they sent home, and she just lays on the couch all day. She wont drink water and we are just worried about her. I need advice because I cant afford to take her to another vet.

My fiance and I love each other so much. We fight about stupid things. We might pick at each other about stupid things. What can I do?

I recieve medicine from my dr. monthly to manage chronic pain. I recently had oral surgery and was written the same medication by the oral surgeon. Is this legal? Is it frowned upon? My mouth is in a good deal of pain, even with my daily meds and I am working full time without missing any.

Just what it says. Im asking for a friend who just got a job. The test is done at a lab and they seal up the urine (I guess they send it off????) , they do not stick a strip in it.

Specifically I am a painter. Where does that rank up against other trades?

Also, if anyone has a list that would be excellent.
