The van starts runs and drives perfect as long as i drive it with ease.. But if I have to give it more than 3/4 throttle, the next time I let off the gas completely it stalls out. Starts right back up no problem though.

I'm looking to heat a very small room, so I'm looking for a small kerosene heater between 5 or 6k btu's. The smallest I can find is about 10k btu's. I don't want to waste any more fuel than necessary.

I have a 1978 dodge ram 3/4 ton truck with a junk carbureted 318. Could I drop in a fuel injected 318 and have it fit the existing transmission? I know I'll have to keep the ecu from the new motor, sensors, etc. The truck is a standard.

Trying to find the stator output so I can find a small stereo that won't draw more amperage than the motor can put back into the battery.

Riding around today, I shut it off, and go to start it again... battery is dead.

I get jumped, starts fine, so I removed the battery cables to see if it was the charging system... and it runs without the battery. So I'm assuming the stator is working correctly.

Battery is fairly new, I don't believe it is an issue with the battery.

But why would the bike run without a battery (off the charging system), but not charge the battery?

What is an acceptable range of internal resistance for this battery?

I have an issue with US Cellular. I went on BBB, and they have an A+ rating, despite many, many complaints. There is a common pattern of a consumer making a complaint to the BBB about US Cellular, and then US Cellular replies with a generic "we're sorry, customer service is our top priority blah blah blah" response, and the BBB accepts that is the company taking a reasonable faith effort to resolve the issue.

If you look at the US Cellular facebook page https://www.facebook.com/USCellular , it is LOADED with unhappy customers. I know many people locally that are extremely upset with their service. People are getting double or triple billed in one month, not billed at all, phones randomly getting shut off despite being paid on time, 3+ hour wait times on the phone for customer service, website login not working, or only working intermittently, etc.

Something is fishy there..

This is an offroad truck. Has the 4 cylinder. Drove it hard for a while, stalled out all of a sudden, and no power. I opened the hood and the ground terminal had melted right off the battery and was glowing red. I also noticed the exhaust header was glowing red. Where do I trace wires back to in order to get this junk running again?

I'm assuming the glowing hot exhaust header melted a positive wire to ground or something

Just aquired a low-mileage one, 4 cyl, auto, and I'm pretty sure it has posi. Both wheels spin, not just one. Was that even an option on the base model with that motor/tranny?

I've got a boat, secured to a trailer that cannot be towed, due to a bad wheel bearing and spindle. It is legal to tow the whole setup on a car trailer to get it home? It is a very light boat, and the trailer wheelbase is narrower than most passenger cars, so I know it would fit, and it would be safe, with proper straps/chains. I live in Maine, but is this legal in general?

I'm thinking I can buy a small sealed lead acid battery, and connect a 12v usb phone charger to the battery. What size battery should I buy that can last me a couple days on a single charge?

I know SLA's can't be fully discharged often, so probably something a little bigger than what I need is okay. but I also have to find a place to mount it on my bike frame, so something silly like a car battery isn't going to work.

I only ask because when I did the documentation at the dealer, they faxed a copy of my insurance paperwork to the finance company.

I was told I should part it out on ebay and I would make more, but it's not worth the time to me. I'd rather just sell the whole tower and take a hit on it. It's sat in my closet for 8 months now.

I bought a $10 repair part for a laptop on ebay, and paid $9.99 shipping. There was a C.O.D. of $27! Is that normal? How can an item valued at only $10 have that much of a customs fee?

I am setting up a small theater. I need a blue ray player that has pre-amp outputs that I can connect to external amplifiers. Preferably one for each channel.

I am looking at buying the Asus 14" G46VW at Best Buy. The only downfall I can see, is the i5 3210m processor. After a little research, I found that the processor is in the FCPGA988 slot, which is one of the few laptop processor slots that are removable.. and what's the chances I have an i7 2670qm that uses that same slot. Could I swap the pre-installed i5 for my i7?
