My newest dog (from the shelter) was spayed on Wednesday. She wasn't too swollen. And seemed okay to me. On Friday she developed a little redness, I called up the vet and she said that was normal. On Saturday there was more redness, but it looked more of an irritation. Like she had messed with it. With one red splotch at the top of the incision, and another and the bottom.

Today the incision was a bit more swollen. Just to the right of her incision site. There is no weird oozing, and she isn't behaving as she is in pain. She even let me examine the site, etc.

I can't call the vet because they are closed this weekend, this also isn't our normal vet. This is the shelter's.

Can I please have some reassurance? I don't want her to be in severe danger.

Oh, and her stitches are dis solvable if that means anything.

The dog I adopted came home today, and I was wondering what she could possibly be mixed with.

I know for sure that she has Jack Russell in her. But another thing is that she has a really weird strip of fur down her back that's longer, although I find it cute.

She weighs about 20 pounds, and is taller than a Jack Russell.

I was planning on adopting a puppy from our local shelter, but someone had already adopted her.

While there I saw that there was an older dog, so I got her out and played with her.

I really enjoyed her, and she fit the bill, so we are adopting her instead. I know we have everything needed, and she is already scheduled to be spayed.

The only problem is.. her name right now is Twiggy. I will attach a pic of her below..

Tomorrow we are adopting a puppy from our local animal shelter. I just want to make sure I have everything..

We have:

food

kennel

play pen

bowls

toys/chews

bed

vet appointments

She will be in my room, and she will have a play pen in my room.

This is just to help with the potty training process.

Any tips on potty training?

Also anything else I should add to the list?

I had my wisdom teeth (all 4) removed a week ago yesterday. Surgery went extremely well, I even had no swelling. I only took two of the prescribed pain meds. All was well until I began irrigating the bottom two holes to keep them clean. My right side doesn't bother me at all, but the left has been hurting a bit today. I don't believe it's dry socket, I can see the clot on both sides. Is it normal to have this pain?

My last horse passed away in April, and I think I am ready for another horse.

I have had horse in the past and know how to ride pretty well. I just want something I can trail ride, or do leisure riding with.

What is the best inexpensive fencing for horses, I don't mind spending any money; it's just that I don't want to be spending thousands to fence in my pasture.

Barbed wire is not an option for me. I have seen too many get injured off it.

I have known this guy for a year now. Over this time, we have became the best of friends. We "fight" but never really mean it, and we just understand each other. At one point we did like each other, but now we are really close friends.

I sort of tried to ignore the fact of me still liking him, but I do still like him. We are around each other a lot of the day. Hang out after school. And it's pretty difficult being around him.

Our other friends tease us A LOT. And he knows that I like him, a lot.

He will say things like "don't think about it too much, because then it will make us upset. and i don't want that for us." He told me that I would eventually find someone because I have a great personality, etc etc.

What i'm trying to get at is that the only thing stopping us (I think) is that he doesn't want to ruin our friendship. What do I do? Do you think he reciprocates the feelings?

Right now I have a three year old Labrador Retriever, and she loves to dig. While we are out and on vacation (my grandpa takes care of her) we put her in an outdoor pen. But I worry about her getting out. What are good ideas for kennel bottoms, but a a reasonable price?

I have thought about patio stones, but having a couple of rubber mats on top to relieve her paw pads, (in case it is hot.) She will have a dog house in the fence.

Any other cheaper options?

My vision isn't horrible, but it was advised by my doctor to get some glasses.

I have deep green eyes. And if you don't get close, they can be very unnoticeable. I would describe them as probably a forest green.

It has been there for a while, and it's red on the bump and around it.

It doesn't come up to a head like a pimple or zit. This morning I tried to pop it, but liquid just came out of it. That's all it ever does when I pop it.

It has been there for about 4 days. I clean it with antibiotic creme and hydrogen peroxide, and it won't heal up. Today I sprayed on some liquid bandage, that is meant for horses. A friend told me that this helps sores. Will this help it heal?

She is a 3, almost 4, year old Labrador Retriever. Her tail never stops wagging, so this doesn't help the situation.

I recently had to put my horse down, and I feel alone in a certain spot.

I considered maybe getting a miniature horse, but some questions first.

Should I get two, or are they okay with companionship such as goats?

My phone was completely fine earlier today, had 3g, and 4g coverage. I was out and about and I just lost the coverage completely. I only had 2 bars. I still only have 2 bars. And I get great 3g at my house. I'm waiting for the ICS android update.. do you think that will change anything?

Also, I called sprint and they said that there was nothing wrong with my phone, I tried to explain. But whatever.

Any solutions for right now? I can't have wi-fi available when I go everywhere.
