I am planning to get AT&T DSL internet for my house. Looks like I need to get my own modem+ wireless router. I found 2 on the internet that I think may work, anyone has more experience than me on this matter.

I would like to know of discount cigar shops that sell Te Amo cigars because at Sanborns, it is very expensive.

I will be moving to San Luis Potasi in a few weeks. I have lived in Mexico before for a few years i.e. in Hermosillo, Sonora but when I visited SLP a week back to check out the area, I found out that the house rental there is really expensive.

Yes I understand the fundamentals in this company if weak but at one point in 2001, they were trading around $130 (during the tech bubble).

Do they at least have positive cash flow?. What's the scoop on this little basket case.

The stock is trading close to its low of $46.25 but even in this economic down fall, it is trading fairly tight. It's 52 week high is $63.85. Read that Wal-Mart is also buying back its own stocks & it has met Wall St estimate.

So is this a good buy at this price of around $46.

I want to know where is there lychee's plantation or orchards in Thailand. The fruit is in season now in Thailand and a friend of mine told me that Rayong produces there.

I would like to go visit these farms if possible. Any Thai's know where these orchards are?.

Dow reported a drop of 97% in 1Qtr profit. Chrysler is heading to bankruptcy. Looks like banks (i.e. Bank of America & C) may need more government funding.

And yet the stock market is rising. Nothing strongly indicates this recession is over yet players are buying into stocks.

Is this a false rally?. What do you guys think?. If and when GM goes down, will it trigger a drop in the DJ?.

Take a look at LIZ, MGM, ETFC, JNY. Why are these stocks rising in price?. LIZ announced a incredible 4 QTR loss of $800+ million. What is the reason, were they really at the bottom that people are buying them because so far that have not performed and are expected not to perform.

So when LIZ jumps by 14% in a day, what is the flaming reason & are they expected to retreat?.

Since last Friday, MGM stock has been jumping up. It is up 60%, is there any good fundamentals or is this overly optimistic investors?.

Symbol (DOW). It hit bottom on March 10th at $5.89 and now it is up to close to $10. This is a company with positive cash flow.

I am sure they will be hurting in their quarterly reports, like everyone else.

Just look at the stock market in 1 hour. Obama has said NO to GM & Chrysler. So the question is, do you buy GM or Ford when they hit say $1.50.

I believe that GM will still get bailed out. They just need to give a solid plan to the government in a few weeks. We will see....what do you guys think?.

I need to purchase a new laptop ($700) for my work and my employer does not want to reimburse me. I am going through the IRS web site & its pretty confusing.

Can I do a one time expense on Form 2106 for the $700+ for my lap top?. Or do I need to depreciate the lap top?.

If its just a $700 laptop and I need to depreciate it what Form tells me my depreciation?.

On my first trip to Bangkok I stayed at the Dusit Princess Srinakarin hotel, it was very nice & it was beside the Seacon Square.

Anyone know about this hotel below?. Is it in the Bangna district (near Dusit Princess)?. I know it probably won't be as splashy as the Dusit Princess but as long as its close by and near a shopping mall, that would be OK.

My company is planning to send me to Bangkok, Thailand for a long period of time. I am looking for a decent 2 bed room apartment for me and my wife for rent. Prefer if its fully furnished with a kitchen.

I have found several web sites providing rentals but not with a kitchen (although they told me I can cook in my apartment) and they are not too expensive. Less than USD$300. I need something more comfortable for my family.

I have also been told that Farangs looking for apartments usually get jacked around. Now I have lived in Shanghai, China for a year so I am well aware of the difference foreigners & locals pay.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In general how is the Thailand Postal service. I like the send a lot of postcards to friends/family when I visit a country. I'd rather use the post office and affix all the cool stamps then send via e.g. FexEd (which can be expensive).

Via Air Mail, how long does it take for a post card to go to say Canada and can it get there safely?.

This just shows how backwards the justice system is in Malaysia. In most civilized country, the police officer would be placed under arrest pending a criminal court case.

And here he is just going to get a disciplinary action soon?. Which is what....standing in the corner for 2 hours with no food in an air conditioned room.

I bet the girl will be scarred for life. Of course all the religious gurus will be questioning the moral of the girl for being on a date with her boyfriend so late so that probably justifies her rape.
