Well, she doesn't actually eat them, but she does consume them over a few weeks or so by chewing them until they are nubs. We take them away when they get too small. We have been letting her chew them daily. I want to know if her consumption (chewing) of the bully sticks will impact her digestion negatively. Thanks for any advice even if yours is not selected as the "Best Answer."

Ok, my wife isn't on the note because I bought the place before we were married. Now the value has plummeted and we'll probably have to dump it to get out from under the loan that's set to explode in a few years. Can I put it up for a short sale and have her purchase for the current market value?

Not really too much to add. Don't want to use a metal comb near her eyes.

She finished her last year of graduate school in 2009. She was in another career before going back to college for graduate school. She already has a four-year degree. She went to a qualified college.

She's really small. Should I get her a large crate she can play around it? Or should it be smaller and enough for her to get around and sleep, but not much else?

I'm underwater with a loan that's set to blow up in a few years. I'm pondering jumping into the market to buy a new home at today's prices and interest rates and renting the place I'm in now.

If I end up loosing too much on the rental, I would probably just stop making payments and let it go into foreclosure. I'd already be established in my new home, so nothing to worry about, right?

Could the bank place a lien on the new home? I recall hearing somewhere that the bank could only go after the property as long as I have just one loan and have not refied, which I haven't.

Ok, I know that solar, hydro, nuclear, etc. produce less GHG than coal plants, but does using electricity also create GHG? If I use X kilowatts of electricity (not considering the source), does the act of using that electricity generate GHG?

I noticed that the security guards at a government office in a California city are citing vehicles for registration violations. I thought only sworn officers could enforce the vehicle code.

I'm pretty sure the IRS doesn't count days, so if I get married on Dec. 30, can I file my taxes as a married man in 2009?

Would it be worse to take the puppy with me? I'm flying back east for xmas and will be there for about a week and a half? The trip includes multiple flights.

I have a 7-year interest only LIBOR ARM loan at 6.75%. I want to refinance into a 30-year P&I loan at a fixed rate, but when I spoke to my loan servicer, they said this simply isn't possible because my loan to value is upside down. I owe about $299K on the home, which is now worth an estimated $243K. It was estimated at $333k when I bought it last year. I can afford to pay the fees and such associated with a re-fi, but it appears the drop in my home prohibits this. Is there any way around this? I'm not in financial straights, so I don't qualify for any of the assistance out there. But I'm looking down the road, and want to get a more secure loan. Any advice is appreciated.

The light went off in my bathroom exhaust fan/light. I bought a new fan/light, but then I got to thinking, maybe it's just the switch, which would be much easier to fix.

Is there an easy way to figure this out? The light and fan operate via two seperate switches outside the bathroom. And like a said, the fan works fine, the light won't come on at all.

I've read that the single limit is $50,000, but the info I found on the IRS website says that limit only applies to married people filing seperately... I'm single and earn less than $100,000 but more than $50,000. Can I deduct 100% of my PMI in 2007?

If your adjusted gross income on Form 1040, line 38, is more than $100,000 ($50,000 if your filing status is married filing separately), the amount of your mortgage insurance premiums that are otherwise deductible is reduced and may be eliminated. See Line 13 in the instructions for Schedule A (Form 1040) and complete the Qualified Mortgage Insurance Premiums Deduction Worksheet to figure the amount you can deduct. If your adjusted gross income is more than $109,000 ($54,500 if married filing separately), you cannot deduct your mortgage insurance premiums.

..on the loan. I don't want my value to drop below what I owe on the loan, but I also don't want to waste a bunch of money on a refi if I don't need to. I'm in a 30 yr interest only. It's fixed at 6.75% for 7 years then it's a LIBOR ARM.The payment's $1,888 a month. I'd like to get into a 30yr fixed P&I. Now that the rate's have dropped considerably is a refi worth it? Thanks for the ADVICE.

I want to save money on my utility bill, so I've been turning the thermostat down from about 71 to 67 every time I leave.

Is this efficent or am I wasting my time, or worse, using more energy to heat my home? Please explain why.

I finished the final third coat on Monday. I'd like to place the hinges and handles on and reassmble on Thursday. Is this too soon? Also, which is easier: Screw hinges on doors first, then attach to cabinets or vice versa?
