Need help turning off a dishwasher!?
I have never used a dishwasher before. So I tried it today and I pressed start and it started up. Well it didn't seem to clean/wash for very long and then I noticed it was suddenly on dry heat and it smells kind of burned. Is there a way to shut it off or does it need to run the whole cycle?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoTeething 9 month old. Any tips?
I have used infant Tylenol and Mortin as well. Yet is there anything you moms have tried that worked wonders. Love to relieve my baby without having him medicated all the time. Which I'll only give to him once a day unless teething is really bad.

4 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoTips on how to clean a beige microfiber sofa?
My sofa is in need of a good cleaning. I'm debating if I should have it professionally cleaned or try cleaning it myself. Is there any products that I can use at home? I did see that commercial about the Resolve one where it cleaned the carpet and sofa. Anyone tried it and does it work? I have kids so it's bound to get dirty again. I don't want to have someone come clean out the stains every time one appears. Also has anyone had trouble w/ their microfiber sofa ripping from the seams. I have three rips in it. One of the arms is almost completely off. Can that be sewn back together? I'm more than likely going to get a slipcover for the couch but I like to clean it first.
1 AnswerCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoLooking for a new perfume.? Any suggestions?
I'm currently looking for a new fragrance. I love Clinique Happy and I've been using it for over 10 years. It's my favorite and I never like to use anything else. Yet now I'm wanting to try something new. Does anyone recommend some perfumes for me to try? That way when I go to the store I'm not sniffing all these different ones. All that smell gets to me after awhile.

6 AnswersFriends1 decade agoDid anyone watch Deal or No Deal on 1/30/08?
I don't watch this show but my husband loves it and he wanted me to watch it w/ him. I'll admit that it is a good show. My question is about the guy who had the option of taking the vehicle, I think it was what $50,000 and plus all that football package deal. He choose no deal b/c his wife didn't want him to. I know deep down he wanted to take the deal and he must have been in a lot of debt to pass it up. I know you go on the show trying to win a million dollars, but it's rare if you do. I'm not into football, but my husband loves it. So for him to be offered that deal I would have told him to take it. Hell, they were getting a nice car and some cash also. The football package would be something my husband would never forget and I'd want that for him. Money doesn't make us any happier than we already are. Sure it would be nice to have a million dollars but it wouldn't last forever. So are their any wives that feel the same or do you think he did the right thing?

My son dumped the bubbles solution on his eyes and possibly in his mouth. It hurts him to open his eyes. Should I be concerned? I was told to repeatedly rinse out his eyes and let him drink plenty of fluids. This was all said from posion control. I've rinsed out his eyes as much as I could and he drink alittle bit of coke. Has this happened to anyone before?

5 AnswersGrade-Schooler1 decade agoCan a property be viewed by prospective renters if the current renters still have to 1/31/06 to move out?
We live in Texas, have put in our 30 day notice which ends 1/31/06. The property today was viewed by "possibly" new renters. Is that allowed, even though we are still living here to the 31 of Jan. I thought the property wasnt allowed to be viewed until after the current renters have left. They did not have an agent w/ them. We were notified of them coming in advance, but were under the impression that they were potiental buyers for this property which is also being sold. I've had tons of potiental buyers view the property but never any potiental renters. Can someone clear this up for me.
