I love reading the crazy questions people ask, as well as some of the crazy answers other people offer! Friendly, fun, easy-going Sydney girl, who doesn't like to take life too seriously. :o)
When is the 'right' time to have children?
How do you know when you're 'ready' to have children and to become a mother? Can you tell when it's the 'right' time?
10 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoHow do I get started doing embroidery?
I'd like to hand-embroider a large pure silk cloth for an upcoming wedding. I've never embroidered before, but I'm pretty good at picking up new crafty skills.
Are there any good websites that can get me started? I'm particularly looking for information about how to mark patterns onto the fabric, different types of stitching, and where I can get patterns.
Thanks!

I like the fact that you can rate the questions and other people's answers, but don't like that you don't get points for rating best answers.

11 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoAre you a typical only/eldest/middle/youngest child?
With a bit of angst going on in my family recently, I've become more interested in the effects of birth order. I guess I'm a typical youngest / only child, and I can see how my older brothers are typical eldest and middle children respectively.
Interested to hear if you and/or your siblings also conform with the expectations. (For a bit of background, see http://www.childdevelopmentinfo.com/development/bi...
7 AnswersFamily1 decade agoCan parents (legally) demand to be kept out of their children's divorce?
My brother is getting divorced from his wife of several years -- she left him, taking all their possessions with her, while he was at work one day and he came home to an empty apartment.
Subsequently, he has gone overseas and their divorce (and property settlement) is still pending.
Because the evil ex can't get in touch with him, she keeps harassing my parents, demanding that they give her her property (they kept some of their joint possessions in my parents' garage).
Can my parents get in trouble legally? It's not even their property to give to her, and my brother has as much right to the stuff as she does, particularly since she's already got most of their possessions with her.
Can my parents refuse to get involved?? If so, how?
4 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoHas anyone purchased a wedding gown online?
I live in Sydney and want to buy a designer dress online from the US. It's heaps cheaper than getting it from a bridal boutique here (about $1,000 saving), but I guess there are more risks involved, and obviously it's a big purchase so I don't want anything to go wrong. I know the style number and dress size I need, because I've tried on the exact same dress in the boutique.
If you have any experience with buying a wedding dress online, I'd love to hear about it ... (unless it's really bad, in which case, break it to me gently!)
