Okay so I've been going out with this boy for 9 months, and before that we were best friends. Our relationship has been overall happy, but we're both really stubborn and fought a lot.. 3 days ago he broke up with me, and of course I'm devastated. This is most likely because we got into a fight the day before at his house and I threatened to leave and started sobbing. He begged me not to leave and held me, but I had to leave before we could fix it. I Ignored him the next day. He called me to break up, and then after he hung up I called him back once again to ask him if he was sure and he said he was. He said he was tired of all the fighting and that making up just didn't seem worth it anymore. Then 5 minutes later I called him to tell him I didn't know who to talk to about this, and he suggested our mutual friend and I hung up. He said he wanted a clean as a break as possible. I didn't cry or plead, my voice was calm. Then 2 days ago I left him a voicemail asking him just to be friends and start over, because we were both each other's best friend. This sounded cheerful and sincere.

He texted me "Hey, can't decide what I want to do now, I think we should wait until finals and school are over and we can reevaluate then, but there's just too much right now." That's 2 Monday's from now. Do you think the no contact rule is a good idea until then, and that I should let him contact me first? What if he never contacts me?

So my best guy friend and I were talking on the phone and I was complaining that I couldn't take a shower because my sister used all the hot water. Our convo went like this...

Me: Ugh I turned on the shower but Mel use all the hot water so I didn't get to take one!

Him: So you stepped in the cold shower with your shirt off and then got out?

Me: Uh... Yeah?

Him: That's hot

Then There was a bit of an awkward pause and then I just changed subjects... Why do you think he randomly said that? It might have been just to bug me, but at the same time he sounded serious... Btw sorry, I don't mean to be kinda inappropriate or anything!

My best friend (a guy) and I (I'm a girl) talk for hours a day, but I havnt seen him for about a month because of our busy schedules. I go to a golf club about a 10 minute walk to my best friends house. Today I walked over there with my sister, and then called him and told him to look out his window. He told me he was on a run, and was on a street about 5 miles away from where his house with. So we started walking away. Then we decided to go back the other way, which meant we were walking by his house again. He then called and commented on our old t shirts we were wearing, and then hung up. I then called him, laughing, asking if he was really home. While we were talking, he walked outside to the end of his driveway. My sister saw him and chased after him. Just as he was shutting his garage door, my sister put her foot underneath it, making it go back up. He then started throwing golf balls at us. Yup. ACTUAL GOLF BALLS. He then said "I'm going to go take a shower, I just went on a run." And closed the garage door behind him. We stood there confused, while his annoyed mother came to the door to find out what was going on. We left quickly before she could say anything. This just happened. I'm so mad at him. I haven't seen him in a MONTH, and we've been trying to make plans for like forever. He even asked me to walk his dog with him yesterday, but I couldn't. I don't know if I should be mad, or should even still be friends with him? Do you guys think it was a d*ck move? And why did he do it? Thank you!!

My best guy friend keeps telling me we're ineventibly going to date and that im out of other guys leauges and that im his best friend and how well we click. But he also does things like once we were talking about going in a group of 2 girls, 2 guys (including me and him) but then he decided against it because it would be like a double date. Then I said "No because Robby and Sarah don't like eachother at all and you know that" and then there was scilence he said "See now I feel kinda awkward because you didn't mention we didnt like eachother..." And then I said "I thought it was implied" and he was all like "ok whatever you say..." What does this mean?? He keeps telling me how we're defiantly going to end up dating one day and we talk on the phone for hours everyday and he's just so confusing!! Please help??

My best guy friend has recently (past two weeks) has been trying to convince me we're daiting (which we're not). We talk on the phone for hours every single day, hang out as much as possible in school, and everyone in the school thinks we're dating. We also hang out outside of school (usually just in friend groups). He keeps telling me he doesn't like me, but that we're inevitably going to fall in love and date one day. He keeps telling me he knows I like him, which I do, but I keep denying it. Then he drops the subject and brings it up a day later. He has told me many times I am his best friend(although we're constantly teasing and being mean to one another), but does he like me...? We're 14, going into 9th btw. Thanks!

Today was the last day of 8th grade. For every other girl, my best friend wrote long, cute messages, and for me he just signed his name and refused to write me anything. I wouldn't care, except we are best friends and we tell each other everything. We talk for two hours on the phone everyday (at least), and hang out at lunch and every other class we have together. Also, we're in the same friend group and even have gone to the movies alone. Even though we're always mean to each other (joking), this actually hurt. Also, he always hugs his other girl-friends but doesn't ever offer to hug me... Does he not actually like me as a friend or?

Next month am going to an 8th grade graduation and dance called Class Night. The clothing is semi-formal, so like between a sundress and a bar mitzvah dress. This is the dress I bought (link below). Incase you can't see it, the dress is made of silk chiffon, is a dark blue color, and has a sweetheart neckline. I was wondering shoes and jewelry i should wear with it, because honestly I have no idea. Any make up tips would help too, and the outfit cant look too fancy! Thanks guys! :)

Last night at a school dance my best friend (a guy, I'm a girl) told me he had a secret he hasn't told me for 2 months, almost with a sly smile. He loves playing jokes on me and making me freak, but idk what the secret could be! When I asked him if he'd told anyone else, he said a few people. This actually kinda hurts, cause I'm usually the first person to know about everything going on in his life. When I asked him if I will ever find out, he just said idk and tried to change the subject. I'm so confused why he didn't tell me before, and why he's refusing to tell me now. Please help!

Ok so my best guy friend and I can talk on the phone for hours and we hang out all the time at lunch, school, and outside of school in groups, and I really want to be best friends with him! But, he is really good friends with our other friend! He always tells me how good of friends he is with her and how he's excited he can finally become her best friend next year with her current best friend out of the picture, and how he tells her everything! They talk on the phone too and hang out outside of school and on the bus. It makes me so frustrated, because I really want to be his best friend! Btw i am ALMOST POSITIVE they are friend zoned, because she discusses crushes with him and he doesnt seem to care who she likes. How can I become his best friend while he wants to become her best friend!?!?!?

My ex boyfriend broke up with me about a month ago, we're 17 and had plans of grtting married in college... Everything was going great until november, where we started seeing eathother less because we were both busy and we starting fighting because he thought our best fiend and i were in love... i thought everything was going ok after that until a week before he broke up with me he started acting really weird... when he broke up with me he did it pver text and used the "its not you its me im so sorry" stuff and he said he just wasnt feeling it anymore. He didnt really seem to care that much, and blamed our best friend and my best friend for 50% of the break up. We havnt spoken since the break up, and all our mutral friends have troed to keep us seperate. I still miss him somewhat and love him somewhat, but ik we wont ever even proabably be froends, let alone date again. We've had no cantact since the break up, not even real life closure, except for a group happy holodays text... there's been some awkward avoiding of eye cantact i the hall. I was wondering if he still possibly loved me even a little bit, as all his friends still love him very much (actually one of his friends asked me out about a week after the break up and i said mabye but it never really happened). It's just weird not having him in my life and him not caring about me at all... i was just wondering if he even thinks about me occasionally or ever misses me at night or thinks about "what if...?" Ok so I'm like pretty much best friends with this guy we always hang out outside of school in groups and talk at lunch and he walks me back to class after lunch every day and once when I was at a party we slow danced (as friends, because i had a boyfriend a few monthes ago) and he only slow danced with me. I'm pretty sure he only likes me as a friend, though, because he does have other friends who are girls who he hangs out with (not so much outside of school, though). He is also very touchy, like playing with my hands and walking very close to me so pur bodies are touching. We never hug though, except after the party (where i ended up chasing him around the whole time after he stole my phone) How do i get him to like me??? Ik him really well and i just dont think he's interested!! Idk what else to do? Thanks!

Last night my grandparents gave my half a red plastic cup of champagne. After i drank it i felt dizzy but really good and almost buzzy.. I just recently turned 14, btw, and I'm almost 5'3. Is it possible to get drunk off of that much alchohol? Thanks and Happy new year!

Ok so I have a best friend and I think he might be gay... He has a crazy fashion style and a very preppy one. He loves j crew because that's where his parents and older sister shop. He has occasional crushes on girls and such but it's for their looks. For instance, he'll be like "Oh she's so hot" or "she has a nice @ss" but he only does that occasionally. Otherwise he's a super cool guy. But, he has a lot of friends who are girls and he loves to gossip and talk on the phone with me. Also, he's never had a girlfriend. He's into cars and some guy stuff like that but he doesn't like sports at all. Do you guys think he's gay? He's this hilarious, outgoing life-of-the-party, funny guy and actually I think it'd be awesome to have a gay best friend, but I was just kinda curious. He really is an awesome guy, and doesn't seem to be interested in guys at all besides being friends (he has a few guy friends but not many). A what do you all think? We're 14 and in 8th grade btw! About a month ago my boyfriend broke up with me. We just weren't seeing eachother very much and he just recently got a huge ego. it hurts because I stayed with him through so much stuff and he went rough a depression a few months into our relationship but I got him out of it and really helped him through it. We were dating for a year and a month, and he wanted to marry me when we got older. Even though we've had no contact besides a friendly group message "Happy Holidays," everything reminds me of him and we have a lot of mutual friends. I still feel like he's a big part of my life, even though he no loungers loves or even cares about me. He was my first love. I'm 14, btw. I just feel so Lonely and upset. Basically the only time I'm truly happy is when I'm hanging out with my Ex's best friend. He's so awesome, and is more distant from my ex after we broke up. How can I get over him and be happy again. please help, :( and happy new year's everyone

My best guy friend Jay and I have known each other for the past 2 years. Last year, I started dating my now ex boyfriend Kyle, who is best friends with Jay. When I had been dating Kyle for about 8 monthes in, I started talking on the phone with Jay almost everday and hanging out with him more and more I even slow danced with him at a bar mitzpha (Kyle wasn't there). Just after my 1 year Anniversary, our other friend Adam thought that Jay was trying to steal me away from Kyle. A few weeks later, Kyle broke up with me. After that, Jay and I became even closer and now we do almost everything together. All our teachers think we're dating. He always plays with my hands and we flirt all the time, but he has a lot of other friends who are girls, too. Besdies that, he tried to "set me up" with this super annoying guy for my "rebound." He also semmed upset that Kyle dumped me a few weeks ago. I know this seems sorta stupid, but does he like me? We're 14 btw! Thanks! :)
