  • IVF Advice.?

My husband and I will be undergoing IVF starting June 1st. I will be on stimulation drugs for about 10 days then have a Lupron Trigger day 11. Egg retrieval day 13 and 5 day transfer on day 18. Due to the fact that my AMH (ovarian reserve levels) and my PCOS my dr has decided to do low dose medications. I will be on 75units Menopur and 75units Gonal F and Cetrotide when adviced. I am concerned though that with this low of a dose that I won't produce a bunch of eggs therefore won't have any to freeze. Anyone used this low dose protocol?

  • Late period. Help!?

So here is the background to my story. My husband and I are TTC. I woke up on cycle day 17 with pink spotting, cycle day 18 brown spotting, cycle day 19 red spotting, cycle day 20 with pink spotting again that stopped that evening. I am now on cycle day 38 with no sign of a period. So 8 days after my expected period. I have taken three tests now and all are negative. One 3 days before expected period, one 3 days after expected period, and one yesterday. Could I be pregnant and the tests just still be negative? Or has the mid cycle bleeding just caused my period to be late.

  • What is wrong with me?

My husband and I are currently trying to concieve. I woke up on cycle day 17 with pink spotting, cycle day 18 brown spotting, cycle day 19 red spotting, cycle day 20 with pink spotting again that stopped that evening. I am currenlty on cycle day 21. I have also for the last 4 days been experiencing left rib pain. It hurts/aches most to the day and then is excruitatingly painful at night when I try to lay down. I have slept the last 2 nights with a heat pack on because it is the only thing that somewhat relieves the pain. Is this something that happens this early on if I were to be pregnant. Help. I really need advice. I called two different doctors about the bleeding and got mixed opinions so Im looking to see if anyone else has gone through this. Thanks in advance.

  • Mid cycle bleeding a bad thing?!?!?

I started spotting on cd17 pinkish, cd18 it had turned to a brownish color, and then today cd19 it has turned to a bright red. It has been very light the whole time. A pantyliner is enough to contain it all day. I have read alot online and talked to alot of people that adviced me that it was probably due to ovulation. I even read online that bleeding during ovulation can be a good thing. However when I called the RE today to discuss this with them I was told that it means that I either didn't ovulate at all or that I didn't have a good ovulation. I always thought and from what all I had read that it was a good thing. Since when is ovulation spotting a sign of something bad. I need advice. Thanks in advance.

  • Mid cycle bleeding....HELP?!?

So yesterday I woke up (cycle day 17) and when I wiped I saw a small amount of pinkish blood so I put on a pantyliner. As the day progressed it turned to bright red and by the end up the day there was about a quarter size amount of blood on liner. Today (cycle day 18) I have spotted a brownish colored blood all day. Again nothing heavy, no where near a regular period. What could this be?

  • Anyone have any experience with ganglion cysts on hands/finger? Any luck with them going away on there own or did you have surgery?

My surgery is scheduled for Monday but I still wonder if that was the best option however I am unaware of the time frame they go away on their own and I don't want this thing sticking around. Any infomration about surgery would be awesome. Recovery time, pain, if it returned later on. Thanks.

  • What are the odds that ganglion cyst will go away before surgery?

I made an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon due to a painful ganglion cyst in the middle finger joint, palm side. The cyst has now started causing numbnes and stiffness so surgery has been scheduled for Monday. I have heard all sorts of stories though about there being a chance of it going away on its own. What are the odds that it will in the next week?

  • Looking to be an egg donor to help with cost of own IVF.?

My husband and I have been told that we need IVF in order to get pregnant. Due to the high cost however I am interested in donating eggs to a couple in need for exchange for money to complete my own IVF cycle. I am willing to do a donor cycle for said couple before my own IVF cycle with all eggs given to said couple or during my own IVF cycle splitting the amount of eggs retrieved evenly, whichever is preferred by the interested couple. I am located in Virginia and price can be negotiated. Please let me know if you have any interest. Thanks.

  • Need help coming up with money for IVF, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.?

My husband and I have been told that we need IVF however we cannot afford the $14,000 price tag for a one time attempt. Any ideas of how to come up with this money would be great. I have already looked into loans and due to the short time frame to pay those off the cost is still too much for us to afford right now. Serious replies only please. Thanks in advance.

  • Hcg shot with timed intercourse?

I had the hcg trigger Thursday evening at 9pm. We dtd at 1230am Friday, 9pm Friday, and 11pm on Saturday. Dr said do it before the 36 hour mark however due to schedules we didn't get to dtd right around the 36 hour mark which is when they claim ovulation happens? Are we still okay?

  • Can I still be pregnant if opk is negative at 11dpo?

I had read online woman using opk tests as hpt (pregnancy tests). I am waiting to use my pregnancy test until Friday at 14dpo but had one digital ovulation test left over from this cycle so I decided to take it this morning and it came back negative. Is there still a chance that I could get a positive pregnancy test later in the week?

  • Can a cold and fever during 2 week wait harm your chances of becoming pregnant?

I had an IUI done this month and at 6dpiui I started with a sore throat and chest pressure. Later that evening I got a fever of 101. Woke up early morning 7dpiui with a fever of 102.2 and still experiencing cold symptoms. I still today at 11dpiui am experiencing runny nose, cough, and chest pressure. Dr won't prescribe meds since I had the IUI done this month. Could being sick like this harm my chances of conception?
