She'll be leaving in about 2 weeks & her host friend, who lives in Calabasas, has asked the group (old high school friends) what they'd like to see or do. None of them can walk for miles anymore, but I know there's a lot to see. Any advice on what a group of 5 seniors might enjoy as tourists in the LA-area?

I vaguely remember a one-named singer that opened for them with longish dark blond hair who wore muscle shirt-type clothes & was in the teen mags at the time. His name started with a D I'm pretty sure. Does anyone remember?

I share a computer where each person signs in under their own name with their own password. When I'm signed in under my name, sites such as thedailywhat, cuteoverload, etc. show a blank white box where a linked video should be. Other people on this computer aren't having this problem when they sign in. Also, everything on my screen shows up really tiny compared to others'. Any advice on how to fix this?

My internet seems to be working fine, except for any page that requires a sign in, such as hotmail, facebook, paypal, accessing my phone bill online, etc. I get the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."

Everything seems to be plugged in correctly, & there aren't any security settings on my account. This started two days ago after moving my modem (unplugging & then replugging it). How can I fix this?

This was from the late 70s or early 80s, & it was on a basic cable channel (RTV I think) within the past month. Some dark, lumpy, leaf creature invades the front hall of a family's house & some men had to (slowly) chase it out & across the lawn with torches. Meanwhile a preteen girl with long blonde hair decides she loves this creature & goes to visit it in the woods near her neighborhood, but the creature is now a pile of rocks that growls at her when she talks to it. This takes place on some sort of residential island & she has to leave, but vows to come back & eventually does a few years later. She just keeps going back to this grumbling rock pile & telling it she'll set it free & that she loves it. I feel crazy for even asking this question. . .

I'm not wanting premium channels or even necessarily HD, I'd just like to regain some of the basic cable channels I lost with the digital conversion, things like History, TLC, HGTV, Lifetime, etc. What kind of channels can you get with a digital antenna?

He has been a she his whole life, including as long as I've known him. Now that the former she is becoming a "he," I'm having a horrible time remembering not to call him a "her" anymore. It is an online retail site that sells various pop/trendy items (jewelry, notebooks, housewares, etc). There are between 6-8 people/editors who each have their own "radio station" with various light/fun dance songs that you can switch around between while looking around the site. Previous music recommendations were things like Robyn, L'il Mama, Paris Hilton, etc. I think there's a boombox at the top of the screen/homepage maybe. I found this site several months ago and can't track it down again. Help!
