  • Need explanation of various camera capture mode on android smartphone?

I just bought Lenovo A859 (with Android 4.2). I notice that the camera has several capture mode, like:

    -Normal

    -HDR

    -Face Beauty

    -Panorama

    -M.A.V.

    -Auto scene detect

    -Smile shot

    -Best shot

    -EV bracket shot

I can only use several of them since they are pretty cut and clear use. But I don't know the rest like how are they different or how they are best utilized. I've been looking on internet for sometime but can't help a good answer. Can someone please help me?

  • Which one is cheaper; 14" or 17" notebook?

I'm going to buy a notebook but still undecided to buy 14" or 17" one. I only need the spec to be as high as possible within my budget range. While mobility is not that important, having the notebook mobile surely won't hurt either. So in other word, it doesn't matter which one (14" or 17").

My question is, if both have roughly same specification; which one is cheaper, 14" or 17" notebook?

  • HDTV as secondary monitor problem?

I just bought a 22" Samsung HDTV and connect it to my 12" netbook as primary display using 1.5m HDMI (HDMI to HDMI) cable.

The problem is that sometimes (randomly) the screen goes black and then normal again after several seconds. The TV doesn't go to stand-by or turned off or anything. It's as if it gets disconnected and then connected again. This never happened before when I just use my netbook.

Is this normal to happen? Since this is my first time using this setup (HDTV as secondary monitor). Or should I get a replacement since they're all brand new and there's still a warranty.

  • A question about Nauer Corporate?

Is there really a UK based company called Nauer Corporate that's going IPO? Because I invested lots of my money when the company was still named Virgin Gold Mining Company (now they change the company to Nauer). But the whole IPO process is really difficult and raises my suspicion. Like how my invested fund will all disappear if I don't do the KYC process and I need to pay more money for the KYC, not to mention I have to go to London for the KYC (I'm from Indonesia).

  • A question about IPO and KYC process?

First sorry for my bad English. English is not my native language.

Do anyone know about the IPO and KYC process? I've invested quite a bit of money in a corporation called VGMC (Virgin Gold Mining Company) before they changed their name into Nauer Corporate and goes IPO. And now they want to do KYC.

The problem is that they want more money for it and I need to go directly to their HQ in London. The embassy reject my visa application because they don't really know about Nauer Corporate (or something like that).

To make things worse, all my money invested to VGMC will be nulled if I don't do the KYC process. And to be honest, this company have been strange for quite some time. They didn't even pay my share when they said they would... The problem is I've invested so much that I can't do anything about it...

    Can someone please help me?

  • Will building muscle affect drawing skill?

Like the title says, I love drawing but lately I feel weaker than I used to be. I used to train a little bit of weightlifting but have been stopped doing that for quite some time since I'm afraid building muscle will make my hand, arm, and finger stiff.

So the question is: if I build muscle, will it affect my drawing skill?

  • Perbedaan file anime BD hemat dengan yg bukan hemat.?

Kan sekarang banyak nih file anime hemat (< 120MB) yang hebatnya udah BD quality (720p). BD=Bluray Disc, btw.

Sebenernya kerasa ngga sih perbedaan antara file BD hemat tersebut dengan anime BD yang ukurannya masih 300-400MB? Kalo yg masih murni BD sih (> 1GB) pasti kerasa kali ya? Tp kalo dibandingin yg 300-400MB? Worth it ngga ya download yg 300-400MB kalo udah ada versi hematnya (< 120MB)?

  • Is this a dead pixel?

I just bought a tablet, an Acer Tab A500 16GB. I just notice that there's something strange on my tablet screen. One pixel shows strange (rainbow) color (it doesn't show the supposed color properly), just like dead pixel. The thing is it's only there when the screen is showing black color. When it's showing other color, that pixel shows color normally.

What is this? It's not dead pixel, isn't it? And is this kind of problem covered by warranty?

  • Which one should I buy, a PC monitor or HDTV (with HDMI port)?

Here's my case. I just bought a netbook which only have 12" display. It's big for pretty big for a netbook but I want something bigger. The bigger the better, so I decided to buy another display unit. Any size is alright, as long as it's bigger than 17" (in wide screen and HD). And since my netbook have HDMI out port, I want my display unit to have HDMI in port.

Another problem is that I'm also going to buy PS3 in perhaps several months and right now I don't have any decent TV to enjoy the HD content of PS3 games. I have a 8 years old TV which is simply not up to par with PS3 (it's small, low-res, and 4:3). I even have lots of difficulty in reading some latest PS2 games text (ex: Mana Khemia 2).

So the question is: should I buy a PC monitor or an HDTV (with HDMI port)?

For now, here's the pros and cons of buying either:

    PC monitor

    Pros:

    - PC monitor have reputation of being able to display sharp pictures, especially when watched up close. HDTV, even having same resolution as PC monitor, looks bad if watched too close, which is understandable since we don't really want to watch TV too close...

    - Specially designed for computer (in my case, netbook) use.

    Cons:

    - Is it capable of being used as TV (when I play my PS3) without turning on my computer/netbook?

    - Doesn't have a speaker (or if it have, the built-in speaker usually low in quality).

    - Lack of port/connection in case I want to attach something else (like any device that we usually hook to a TV), ex: DVD player.

    HDTV

    Pros:

    - Already have everything I need to enjoy multimedia experience. Namely a speaker.

    - I definitely sure since it's a TV, it would act like a TV easily. Meaning I could enjoy my PS3 easily and to the fullest.

    - Could hook up any other device easily to all available ports that usually there in a TV (those L/R/Video connector and others).

    Cons:

    - More expensive compared to a PC monitor

    - Looks bad when watched too close, which is something I definitely do when using my netbook.

  • Saya baru saja digigit tikus. Apa hal tersebut tidak apa-apa?

Seperti judulnya, saya baru saja digigit tikus.

  • I was bitten by a mouse. Is that alright?

Like the title said. I was bitten by a mouse (not too big, but not small either). It's only a light scratch. Sure, it's sting a little bit and left a pain too, but not wound (only a little scratch mark and a tiny bit red spot).

Oh, and the mouse is in the verge of dying to the rat poison.

I don't know why but my parents are quite frantic about it. Is it alright? Must I take some precaution?
