Which one is cheaper; 14" or 17" notebook?
I'm going to buy a notebook but still undecided to buy 14" or 17" one. I only need the spec to be as high as possible within my budget range. While mobility is not that important, having the notebook mobile surely won't hurt either. So in other word, it doesn't matter which one (14" or 17").
My question is, if both have roughly same specification; which one is cheaper, 14" or 17" notebook?
I already have a secondary 22" monitor (HDTV that also specialized for computer use, it's native at 1080) so display size is not really matter for me.

For years I have had a 15" laptop. For various reasons I bought a new one a 17" Toshiba Satellite. An excellent computer with an excellent display. I generally use it at home but occasionally take it for a walk.
There are fewer bags available in the 17" size but I found a nice one. Long story short, if the 15" was available at a similar discount as the 17", I would buy the 15" today and it should be cheaper.
EDIT: Given your circumstances and the external monitor, the 14" sounds better to me. I was comparing Toshiba's 15" and 17". No 14" comparable in their line.

Well, if you listed the specs, that would be easier to say. But if there roughly the same get the 14" as its cheaper and the screen is smaller so when playing games your pc will be able to play it better then the 17" as it has less screen to cover, and you can run it on a lower resolution, but higher graphics:)
