My email requires a log in with Microsoft Office Outlook Server 2003.?
I have Windows XP. Each time I log in I can read email but if I reply or attempt to compose I get "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." A large white window then appears and will not close forcing me to shut down my computer manually. This occurs whether with IE 6,7 or 8. I don't have this problem with firefox but cant access all of the features that are available with IE. If I use firefox on Lexis.com. for legal research, I can not print anything, even though the print utility from Lexis was downloaded. The same type message appears and each time you reopen and attempt to print you shut down again. Neither microsoft nor firefox have ever posted any solutions nor taken care of the problem for well over a year. Can anyone tell me how to fix these problems? I have no viruses or other problems with the computer and only these two sites have any problems.
1 AnswerSending and Receiving Messages1 decade agoDoes Microsoft Or Firefox ever get back to you when the web page crashes for no apparent reason?
I often get the following message when trying to print from the LEXIS NEXIS site" Internet Explorer has experienced a problem. Please report it to Microsoft." The same type message comes for Firefox if I switch over to Firefox. I have downloaded the printer software from LEXIS for both programs. This does not help. I also encounter the same problem from time to time when sending email from my employer's web site from home. It is set up for Microsoft Outlook 2003. I have reported it to both Microsoft and Firefox for months. So far, no reply from either. Please keep any suggestions simple to follow.

down. The internal atomic clock and inside temperature are not effected. New batteries and shutting down over night, starting outside sensor first as stated on web does not help.

4 AnswersPrinters1 decade agoEvery time I turn on my PC I have to access the control panel to adjust the screen resolution, What do I do?
I also have to adjust the screen resolutin every time a pdf file requires adobe reader. I did not have this problem until I downloaded the current version of windows explorer and adobe reader. Is one of these programs the cause of this problem (the color drops to 8 bits, the resolution to the lowest setting). I always adjust to the proper 32 bits, 600 X 800 resolution and click to apply and OK. There will be no other problems once I do this at the start up phase UNLESS a pdf file requires the adobe reader. I am limited on knowledge of my pc and programs, etc. If you have a suggestion keep it as non-technical as possible or I probably can't follow it through.

1 AnswerInternet1 decade agoWhy won't the selected screen resolution remain when the PC shuts down?
The Icons and other text become too large and the colors are wrong, such as if I had selected a different resolution, (which I have not) each time the PC is restarted. Each time I select the correct resolution 600 X 800 and check apply. The Icons etc perform correctly until the next time I turn on the PC.
1 AnswerProgramming & Design1 decade agoHow many start up programs should I have on Windows XP? How do I eliminate ones not needed, how do I ID them?
My PC has became extremely slow at start up. I suspect it has too many start up programs. How do I determine how many programs are actually needed and how do i eliminate those not needed?
6 AnswersProgramming & Design2 decades agoThe brake pedal and gas pedal are so close in my 01 Explorer that I sometimes hit the gas when I brake?Ideas?
I have to wear a brace and bulky shoe which causes the problem. I do not want to use hand controls. Are there any kits to move the brake pedal approximately 3 inches to the left of the current location as this would solve my problem.
