Im an older Canadian woman who loves life and enjoys nature. Im not a smoker and I do enjoy the "occasional" dark ale on a hot summer evening......or a glass of wine.......or a good scotch with a side of water and a twist of lemon.....I enjoy gardening, driving (Im a professional Driving Instructor), and prefer a simple life in the country (if I could afford an acreage.........hahaha)....... I have a good sense of humor and like to put others at ease. I also enjoy a good conversation, or discussion about almost anything. I love to learn. I enjoy answering questions here when I can and I don't mind receiving email whenever something I have said was unclear or incorrect (hopefully that's not often).

2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoI found 'Felaway" (spelling?) for cats?
A while ago I had asked for some advice on travelling a long distance (2400 MILES) with a cat. I was given lots of great tips. In my research I found a product containing a pheromone which calms cats. It seemed to work! I sprayed a wee bit in his carrier and in the car about 20 minutes before putting him into the carrier, and sprayed it in the motel room as I travelled. I placed him in his carrier in the bathroom, put his food and litter in there too whenever I got to a motel (after spraying a bit of this "Felaway" pheromone spray. It seemed to work great! I wanted to thank everyone for their responses to my questions. It all worked out well, and we arrived in Virginia (from Alberta Canada!) to spend a warmer winter. THANK YOU ALL!
3 AnswersCats9 years agoTravelling with a cat first time?
I have to drive 2400 miles with my cat. I have travelled with my dogs over the years, but never with a cat. I am concerned about how to go about breaks (so he doesn't escape), how much to feed, water and when. I have only taken him into the car on vet visits. Any suggestions? Has anyone done this?
Thank you for your responses.

1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhy is it that railroad crossings are always so rough?
Railroad companies lay smooth, flat track across all sorts of terrain, and yet, they can't seem to come up with a solution to rough crossings......any ideas to patent? I'd love to hear
I think they should use railroad track and somehow connect that to a concrete base, leaving room of course for the railroad track to run through it.

9 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style1 decade agoWhy do people answer questions here when they have no knowledge of what they speak? Are they just impulsive?
These answer forums pay credit to the premise that there are a lot of people who make assumptions in life, without any base. Also people don't make it their business to research the facts either. Wow, the internet can become quite the rumour mill!
