My question is this. i took in. my nephews dog temporarily. i told him on several occasions he had to go. i can not handle him. he is way to hyper. ok a week ago he came and got the dog with the new owner yesterday i came home and the dog was tied to a tree with no water no note or nothing. . he abandoned this dog because when he took the dog kept him for a week. i was released from any obligation to this dog. can i have him up for animal abuse as far as abandonment??

he has lost about all his teeth, and i need to figure out away or something that he will be able to eat. he has a lot of difficulty with his food, also he has what i would called a blood filled sack hanging on his bottom lip.
