We lived in an apartment complex. My fiance was in a car at the complex and someone called the police on him for smoking marijuana on Thursday. We knew who called the police, but said nothing to the woman. We recieved our 30 day eviction notice on Monday. The woman that called the police went to the landlord on tuesday and told her that I was threatening her (I wasn't.) I was informed that we had 10 days to evict because of MY threats. The same woman put a warrant out for my fiances arrest on Tuesday night for communicating threats (he didn't), so we both filed harassment against her and had a warrant for her arrest. She said that my fiance said "I'm going to hurt you." two days in a row. Should we hire a lawyer, or will this be thrown out by a judge? By the way, we had a neighbor at our house both days she said he did this, and his mom was there, and he was at work for 12 hours both days.
