What would happen if I recommended that someone use Linux or Mac over Microsoft Windows? What would happen if I opined that Microsoft didn't provide good software solutions?

I think I narrowed down the cause of my puppies very offensive flatulence. I was wondering if anyone else's dog sufferes from gas when given Milk Bone brand dog biscuits.

I'm writing a short story for a literary journal. One of the story's characters is a gulf war veteran. I want to know the disparaging or racist names that soldiers use for the local civilians, e.g. "Hagi, LBG, etc." What do they call bad guys? I want jargon, soldier talk. thanks to all.

p.s. I apologize in advance to anyone who may take offense at some of the responses. I'm just looking for realism and truth for an accurate characterization of attitudes and hostilities towards people of the reagion.

Our new puppy is a male fox terrier. We have one adult female cat, one adolescent male cat. Both kitties are tolerant and curious of the little one. The puppy is cautious and keeps a healthy distance after a few unsolicited boxing lessons from his four legged housemates. They both eye him watchfully from perches above. After an hour alone, I found him snoozing on the beanbag--no messes, no shreds. I was worried about separation anxiety. I wondered if he found company with the cats while we were away. Anyone have similar experiences?

Subwoofer sounds badass when in surround sound mode (Dolby Digital), but dead as a doornail in analog stereo mode. LFE indicator lights up when in one of surround modes. I suspect that no signal is passed when in analog stero mode.
