why do some people feel the need to offer a snappy judgemental answer on here?
my last 2 questions were straight-forward things I just want an answer to. And both got responses where the answerer was clearly trying to one up me. If you want to be a brat do it somewhere else. Answer the question or don't. Don't include some personal judgement,
2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture7 years agohow do you get a child to take smaller bites when they eat?
not sure if it's an impulse control thing? 5&1/2 year old boy. Has always taken bites too big when he eats. We cut things smaller, we tell him slow down. Yet he still gets himself in trouble every 2-3 months. Worried that it might happen at school or someplace where an adult doesn't see for 3 or 4 minutes. It's troubling! My father did this too his whole life, never learned. They are not biologically related so it's not genetic. Is there a method besides repetition? Yes I'll ask pediatrician too. But I'm wondering if anyone's had this, and what they did that worked. I can't count on him to outgrow it apparently... thanks!!

1 AnswerSoftware7 years agoshould i wear a suit to a pharmaca pharmacist interview?
I know, men should always wear a suit. However- I've been told twice recently, (not even in a uit...it was separates) that I was overdressed. I am a pharmacist. But Pharmaca takes the Whole Foods approach. I do not want to come across as corporate or snooty. But I want to impress. Help! I have a GREAT suit I really do want to wear. But I'm remembering the two "overdressed" comments from other employers. Most jobs that I have GOTTEN I've worn shirt and tie, no coat. thx
4 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment7 years agocan I permanently disable Full screen Mode in windows 8?
I swear I want to scream every 10 seconds. It's TERRIBLE the simplest toggle and it jumps back into full screen mode. Please don't say F11 because that's a 2 second fix. I want it gone and I absolutely hate windows 8. I'm using touch screen. Is my sensitivity set wrong? Help because I'm going to toss this out the window soon.

3 AnswersRadio8 years agoshould I tell prospective employer about DUI?
I've had 2 interviews. Having a 3rd next week, I believe they'll make an offer. I did the on-line application for them weeks ago, where I answered "Yes" to have you been convicted of a crime. I gave the misdemeanor code number, date, and court in "Explanation." I thought, if they were going to have a problem with it, they would have seen it then. But I'm beginning to think they don't actually notice until they run the background check. I believe this has already worked against me once (I thought I had an offer, it fell through after background check- again- I admitted "Yes" on all applications and explained the situation.) It was a DUI, early 2002. Nothing since. Should I tell the company about this DUI before I even go ahead with this next interview? Or is admitting it on the Application (and background check when they request)- adequate? My feeling is that they actually don't see it until the background check, and even though you put it on paper- they see it as a surprise.

14 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agowhat shifts do hospital pharmacists work at your hospital? What are ALL the start times?
Years ago when I worked in a hospital, there were three start times (maybe 4)
730am, 8am, 3pm (approx) and overnight
Recently I've seen a LOT more staggered shifts...8-10 different starting times for shifts. Is this the case nationally? Is "1st Shift" "2nd Shift" and "3rd Shift" an obsolete concept?

2 AnswersPain & Pain Management9 years agoDo both favorites cover the point spreads Sunday?
I'm up ONE point in my picks league and while this is usually the point where I don't care...this season I can't afford to miss any now. I'm leaning towards BOTH home favorites covering (NE minus 7, SF minus 2.5) but I could easily see both of those being incorrect. I will honestly make my picks based on the comments here, it's that much of a toss up, so have at it, folks!
2 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agowhat's the cheapest way to move cross country?
my mother is moving from orange county to cleveland. We'll condense the stuff to about a 1 bedroom-worth. No hurry, the things can arrive anytime. Any recommendations for those long-term movers like Door-to-Door, etc? Nothing is super high value, we just want something that works and is economical.
