Its a long story, but my husband was arrested, and his truck and property impounded, 7 months later, the DA finally dismissed all charges. Included in my husband property were two guns and numerous amonition(we live in the country-he hunts alot)The county informed us they would return his guns but not the amonition. CAN THEY DO THAT?. It is legal to buy amo, it is legal to posess amo, he bought and paid for it. They informed us it is against the countys policy. It seems to me the police are the criminals here, theft of personalt property. Gosh , we spent thousands of $ fighting charges that should have never been filed, 7 months later finally. all dismissed, and over with, except for the county police department keeping personal property....once again...CAN THEY DO THAT?!!!!!

They were about 4 inches long, brown and resembled more like a texas longhorn steer with its horns turned into the center. We always called them devils horns. Do you know the botanical name and where I might find info and seeds?

It has leaves like a cosmo,

it is about 6-8 inches tall

It has 3 round golfball blooms, no petals (at least not yet) the front of the golf ball bloom tapers off into a star, with very soft spikes all over the bloom.

The entire plant is apple green in color.

It is not a bladder campanion but it looks alot like it except for the feathery spikes.

I once gathered wild seeds from the forest here in Colorado, but that was several years ago.

What could it be? It is driving me crazy!!!

Feathery leafs like a cosmo...8 inches high...multi-stem,

blossoms... (there are 3) they are about the size of a pingpong ball, they are round like a balloon with a star shape on the front of it...i have waited for it to open but I think these bizare round things are the blossom. It is all applegreen in color ...like the bells of ireland but it is not that plant...it is not a tomatilla either. It has just showed up in the midst of my flowers.

I live in Colorado and my garden is not new, at one time I did harvest wild flowers seeds from the woods, but I have never seen this before.

It is pretty and dainty but strange...any ideas?
