I do give it to God, but I still pray. Remember that Paul tells us to "pray without ceasing."

We are told to cast all our fears upon the Lord. That doesn't mean we can't pray about it each day, it just means we're not to let it consume us to distraction. That has proven to be a very satisfactory way to keep in God's hands.

Remember the woman who kept knocking at the man's door until he gave her what she wanted?

When we pray, we are communicating with God. When we repeat our request to Him often, it's perhaps more of a steam release for us because it's so heavily on our mind. But we also keep knocking at God's Door, so to speak, when we ask. When we are in an agitated emotional state, as I have recognized about myself, I pray about my concern over & over until I ease that agitation. Then I can find more inner calm, speak to God in a different way, & leave the concern at His Feet, feeling inside me that He will take care of it, & I will accept His Solution no matter what. But if I didn't do my emotional, fervent, nagging praying initially, I don't think I could achieve that "letting go"; I would keep reclaiming the concern.

Absolutely not. We should be in continual prayerful attitude all day. I know that I pray every day that God will watch over my daughter (she's a teenager) and keep her safe. I pray that He will guide her so that she will always look to Him. I know He will do all these things if it is in His will, but it will never stop me from asking over and over.

No it is not lack of faith. The Bible says to give your concerns to God.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everthing through prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known unto God. Phillipians 4:6

God wants us give our worries over to him. He will take care of it according to his will. trust in him. I believe in this.

And yes you can pray about it each day. Give it to him each day.

I take care of my concerns myself. I don't believe goddesses and gods are meant to look after our every little need when human beings are more than capable of handling that on their own.

All of us have fears and concerns. We tend to give them to Jesus and then take them back and carry themourselves.

Give them to Jesus and try to leave them there.

If you need to do something...talk to someone to try to mend a relationship...get an extra job to get out of finiancial difficulty...or so on, then you need to do what you can.

The rest...leave with Jesus.

Often, that is where He wants us...totally dependant on him.
