Any idea how I could create a link so that when I ring my land line phone a strobe light starts, and stops when I ring it again. Anyone know of where I can get a relay (or the like) that turns on when first run, and then off when rung again?

When the wash cycle finishes in our Jenn Air 680b Dishwasher, there is about 1 inch of water left in the appliance.

Ok , I've moved to the US with my entire DVD collection being Region 2. I can't get my existing Philips DVDR310 to output NTSC so I have to buy a new player.

Which US available DVD-Recorder is best to go for, so that I can hack it to play my UK disks. It would nice to go for one that does HD upconvert to!

I've found the Panasonic DMR ES25s and EH55s, the Samsung DVD R135 and the Sony RDR HX175 - but can't find hacks for them.

Has anyone got hacks for the above or a suggestion of the unit I should go for (with a hack)

I have 3 worksheets, 2 are price lists, I want to create the 3rd sheet to look up the part code from one pricelist and show its price and the corresponding part code and price from the other sheet. Neither lists are (or can be) in the same order or sorted as they have to remain in product groups. What Excel function do I use? *Lookup doesn't do it as everything is unsorted! Help!! please!

I have had to reformat a PC which I bought as a complete package, I've put W2K on it but I dont have any of the drivers (NIC, Display,sound etc..) Its a compact PC with everything on the motherboard and no distinguishable manufacturer names on the chips or board. Is there a utility that will interrogate them and locate which drivers are required?

I have a UK Philips Recordable DVDR610, I have chipped it to play US Region 1 disk but it wont output NTSC signals. The manual claims it supports both but does anyone know how to change it. I don't want an external converter most are variable in performance and it affects picture quality. How do I reconfigure the output to NTSC?
