We have fleas. I have a good product to kill them, but I can't get close to a few spots where they are so many, you can be covered in seconds.I find it weird that these areas of the yard are not the ones we have our dog, So how does a person go to those spots and not get covered in fleas? I can't go buy a Dale Gribble jump suit or something, so please dont say go buy a suit of some kind. Thanks for your help and ideas. : )

I found an old ugly box that had hinges that would be hidden inside the edges of the top and bottom, but they were missing. I fixed the box up but the hinges I tried to put on the outside of the box is splitting the wood. The screws are very small but still doing damage. Is there a way to attach the lid to the box and not use hinges? Thanks for your help.

My husband is trying to make a dvd of some videos he has, and back up some old movies he has that are getting a little worn out. He might as well have asked me to teach him to walk on the moon. We have dvd flick and it says its doing all the work but we wind up with a blank disc. He has an hp100i burner writer and I guess that comes with Sonic? I followed dvd flicks instructions, and it seemed to be moving along, but then at the end there were all these pages of info and I had no idea what they wanted from me. I xed them out and now wonder if thats why we wound up with a blank disc? I've looked up countless tutorials about dvd burning but they use terms I've never had to know and when they are about dvd flick they never mention those things that come up in the end of the process and what to do with them. Do we need something else here, I mean other than an expert doing the work? We also have an external dvd burner but dvd flick cant even see it so its not on the list of devices to use. If you use dvd flick and came up with a blank disc, did you find out why? So lost here lol. I will appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you.

What is it called when someone tells you what you want to hear instead of the truth? I know the names such as, yes man, liar, suck up etc, I wanted to know if it had a real name or causation. ( I mean causation as in "causal relationship between conduct and result")

If you are someone in a situation everyone talks about, but not to, and used to get at the other people in the situation, but are not actually doing anything to or with any one, would patsy be the best word? I sort of hate that words because it sounds more like a victim, or some sucker that bought the Brooklyn bridge than someone who is more standing back and not really caring if everyone in the situation is using them as an excuse for bad or immature behavior or as an excuse. Maybe scapegoat? Seems less like a mark, dupe or sucker word but still not what I want.

I'd like other words or phrases from other people, countries or walks of life I may not have not been exposed to thus far, or have not said here as word examples. Anyone want to share some with me?

Do you know why someone would be born with lighter or darker patches of skin than is present on the rest of the body? Does any one know what causes that or what its called?

I have a friend who is White, with light tan patches on his shoulder and chest. You can barley see them but he said he was born with it. Growing up I knew Black kids with really light patches on their face and hands. When I met their parents, they had these patches too. I didn't want to be rude and ask about it, but I have always been curious about it. I thought I'd find out what it was called and read about it instead. The white guy I know said all he knew about it was he had it because it was a virus thing passed to him from his mother, but again I didn't want to get all questiony because I didn't want to make him feel embarrassed. I have a GMC truck. The manual window (passenger side) came off track. I have the door panel off and cant figure how to put the thing back on track. I know mechanics do this, but I don't have any money or I wouldn't be trying to do this myself. It's supposed to rain (finally), so would one of you car Gods or Goddess please quickly tell me how to get this stupid b@*#^rd back on track? Thank you.

I have a cat that has worms but the treatment takes 14 days. Hes been on it for 6 days, but he's still losing so much muscle and weight. He's eating and drinking quite fine, but the vet said it just takes time. He looks like he's running out of time. What is a good food/s or supplements to help the poor old guy from losing so much weight 'til he's all better? Dude will eat just about anything even veggies. Like a dog in a cat suit. He has a long treatment because he was so wormy they said a sudden or quick one would hurt him. These meds are supposed to kill all the worms cats get, but my main worry is he's got so skinny and weak.

No offense to vets, but ours isn't much help except in the money taking department.

One looks like teenie tiny grasshoppers but are a light brown or tan colour, and the other is a little round black domed circle on the plant, and if you touch it with something it flies away. They are both eating my garden making tiny holes in all the leaves. I'd like to get rid of them but not hurt the birds, cats and dogs I have in my yard. Also run off from my yard will go to a tributary of our local water basin so it can't be poison.

I'm not looking for dance music, but the traditional older music.

3 times now when I have closed a page that says Can Not Be Displayed (or Find Server), and immediately Internet Explorer starts opening page after page after page, up to 75 pages before it stopped long enough to let me close a group. It would let me close a group just to open more and more till I finally got off line, and restarted my computer just to make them stop coming and close. It took many tries to get off line and re start my computer as if it were frozen. WTF??

Is this something I can fix my self or do I need a professional?

I want to ask an older Japanese woman for help in something, but I don’t know her really well, and wondered if there was a tradition of offering an older person something upon meeting them, or speaking to them, and if so, what is the offering? For example, when meeting some Native Americans (especially my people) you can offer them tobacco or if I know them then I offer something I know they want or need. I already know about bowing, but wondered if there were also gifts as tradition and etiquette.

I was wondering if anyone had seen the movie and pursued its knowledge far enough to help me do so too. For example, did you find books to help someone understand this philosophy better and perhaps use it?

Any help would be appriciated.
