We have a crack between cement front porch & the brick side wall of the house right next to the front door. There is obviously a wasp nest cos we see them flying in & out of the crack, but the problem is we don't actually know whether their nest is under the porch or under the house? We have tried filling in the crack with a mixture of dirt & motor oil as well as spraying the usual surface sprays etc but they just dig their way back out.

I got fed up with them one day & sprayed foam oven cleaner along the crack which killed them instantly (they hate it) so out of desperation we've kept it up & we are getting rid of some of them but not be able to access the nest or know exactly where it is, it seems like we're fighting a losing battle. We are trying to get out of this the cheapest way possible. Any ideas greatly appreciated :-)

I've never been able to grow potted maiden hair ferns successfully so i actually gave up trying, but recently i had one given to me in a pot and i've put it in my kitchen on top of the fridge & it is in an extremely good, well lit position & i have other plants in the same area that are absolutely thriving but the fern is not looking too good. I read somewhere not to let them dry out but at the same time i'm sure i'm not over watering it?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :-)

I've heard of so many different ways to help a person quit smoking, so i'm hoping to hear from a few people who have been through it.

Anyone who has been lucky enough & had the willpower to quit could you please let me know how you went about it? Any "tips" greatly appreciated!

I know it was a stupid thing to do but i pushed a heavy set of drawers up the hall to a bedroom & there are scratch marks on the floorboards.

Any ideas of how to at least "disguise" the scratches would be greatly appreciated!

We have an 8 week old kitten & our 2yr old cat is "terrified" of him! He won't come inside the house & if he sees the kitten at the window he runs a mile. We have to feed him outside but he's not eating much. We give him plenty of love & attention but he still won't come inside. He's also scared of children for no obvious reason. Both cats are males. Anyone with any ideas please help because i've run out of ideas!

I always have bags under my eyes and have been told it could be fluid retention but it definately is not! Would love to know if anyone knows any "natural" remedies to cure my ugly problem???
