Hi, we are buying a new dishwasher, it is being delivered, and the delivery comes with free collection of the old washer, but the old washer has to already be uninstalled for them to do that. They are coming Tuesday and we won't have time to unhook it, so I uninstalled it today (Saturday). That wasn't so hard. Problem is now I have an unplugged drain inlet on my disposer, and an open hookup on my hot water line. So, I can't use hot water, the disposer, or the drain (it will backflood out the inlet) until the new washer comes in three days! All the instructions online on how to remove a dishwasher all assume you are putting a new one in immediately. What's more, my hot water line seems to be leaking (the shutoff knob is turned off as far as I can possibly get it) out the washer hookup.

Can I just get a cap for the hot water line? Is this a common plumbing piece? How about the disposer inlet? Disposers come with a plug in the inlet in case you're not going to hook up a dishwasher. But they don't account for you removing a dishwasher permanently. What's the best way to temporarily re-plug the disposer's waste inlet? Does there exist some sort of dead-ended rubber hose bootie I can clamp on to it?

Thanks. Also, does no one ever permanently remove their dishwasher? It seems like none of the DIY resources account for this possibility at all!

(I realize I'm not actually permanently removing my dishwasher, but the issues are roughly the same..)

A company that has little to no customer service has been recurring charging me even though I have tried to contact them repeatedly and get the service dropped. Late last year I submitted a chargeback through my bank which was approved. But the company turned around and tacked the charged-back amount onto another recurring charge. Can they really do this? What is my recourse here?

There have been various suggestions as to what manufacturing defect in the 360 causes the Red Ring of Death to pop up in as many as 33% of units. Does anyone know what they (Microsoft) actually do to repair the problem when you send it in (under warranty)? Do they replace the CPU or graphics chip? Do they use a new model of the chip? I recently bought a new WUXGA (1920x1200) flat panel. It works fine, but I've noticed that the onboard video on my HP desktop can't do that resolution in 32-bit color; only 16. If I bump the color space up, the resolution is bumped down to 1920x1080 (HD 1080).

What would the minimum specs be for a video card that can do 1920x1200 at 32 bits?

If my ScanGague is to be trusted, my car's minimum throttle (throttle position at idle) is 9%. I'm wondering if it's possible to make this even lower, and maybe save some gas in the process (e.g. in-city).

I understand though that the engine needs a certain absolute minimum throttle to a) operate and b) move the vehicle, but is that necessarily the same as what the throttle's minimum position is?

I can't decide. Rhapsody is $12.99/mo, but I can only use it online. Zune Pass is $14.99/mo, and is compatible with my Zune. So far though Zune Marketplace has been kind of sparse on stuff that isn't widely popular. Dunno about Rhapsody. Anyone else have an opinion of the two?

I would like to upgrade my Wordpress. I share the server with other people. Wordpress upgrade will require a MySQL upgrade (from 4.x series to 5.x series). I could upgrade the MySQL, but I fear that would break other people's applications and force them to upgrade as well. So I'd like to run two MySQL, keeping the existing 4.x series for legacy apps and another 5.x series for newer apps. What needs to be done to do this?

Looking for a community-generated website (for example a wiki) dedicated to world coin and banknote collecting that has thorough info on coins and notes.

For example one issue I have with banknoteworld.com is that while they have a good set of scanned bills, they don't include a lot of detailed info -- like watermark, ultraviolet, other security features, description of bill. I'm curious because American people in general don't usually care/know much about the elections in other countries or support one person over another for the leadership of other countries (or even who the options are). But it seems the US elections may get an disproportionate amount of world attention?

She lied about her trip to Bosnia being dangerous and under fire to make people think she is "tested" and war-hardened. The first time she was caught she said it was a one-time "blip" but in fact she said it five times! She also doesn't apologize for her vote authorizing the Iraq War nor her vote authorizing an Iran War. How can anyone claim she is accountable?
