Question: when playing a 3d movie, its only 24hz... The tv is made to have 240. Over the air (hd u-verse) its 60hz. Why is it necessary to have a 240hz if everything is maxed out to 60 or less?

Such a vibrant tv and state if the art, yet there is tracking on football games.

I have 4gb ram with 32 bit windows 7. Will ready boost do anything? Or is the limit 3.5gb for any ram type memory?

Alright, i have several partitions on a windows 7 computer.My C: is getting full. But, i would rather it not be a large partition, so in order to help organize things, i want to have mutlple desktops per partition... so my F: can have its own desktop.

Its ok for it to be only a virtual one (I dont another windows for each partition), but is there any way to set up virtual desktops that saves the data on my F:, so each time i open my virutal desktop, it pulls files and saves files to this drive instead of my C:?

Alright, need some help with this. I need to reword this sentence so it does not have "approved all unapproved" in it. Any ideas on how i could reword it to say i reveiewed and (basically concluded to approve or reject) all unapproved field alterations.

What Am I??

I am not sure if some schools teach it differently now, but why are we still teaching that the more mass an object has, the more gravity it has to pull on objects with mass. And objects with higher mass will be pulled more by gravity than those with less mass. Why is this still taught if it is proven wrong?

I am trying to copy a lot of text from excel by my client. In the before time, the long long ago, i was able to copy the whole document, paste it into wordpad, and wordpad would not include any word or phrase that had the format strikethrough. This was great, because strikethrough means it was omitted or removed, but just to show the change.

How do i get this to happen again? Now when i copy from excel and paste into wordpad, all text is included, but the words that were stricken are now... not stricken. Is this something that can be achieved by altering the registry? If so, how? I know how to edit registry entries, and i know about the IfStrikethrough entry to allow wordpad to show formating as strikethrough or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do i set the router to place my computer (LAN connection) as dedicated or primary, so that wireless devices use only the bandwidth left that i am not using? Make sense? I have two laptops connected to my wireless router, i want them to stay connected (they belong to two other people). but i pay for internet, and i would like to be able to get on the internet when i want to. I know there is a way to do it, just not sure how.

Alright, hopefully i dont get answers for "changing the background ON my computer". i am talking about the background of the 'my computer' folder located on the desktop of XP.

Any way to change this without changing registry? And if not, where in the registry is this? Whats it called? I have looked around for a while now and cant find. Any help would be much appreciated.

Alright, so ACII and SC Conviction has Ubisoft's "new era of" DRM. Do you think this will hurt the business or help? Seems more of a deterrant of paying customers than a solution to piracy. I have seen more and more "legit" customers searching for pirated copies because of the new DRM than i ever have with any other game. Who wants to deal with constant online key checks? Lose internet connection, game goes bye bye.

What are your opinions on it? Me personally, i have not bought either of these two becaues of the new DRM, its annoying to be a hassle when its supposed to be entertainment when you have nothing else to do. Especially when you need something to do the most when the internet goes out.

What is the deal with the new basic training standards for the Army? Aside from Ft Benning (which will always be the exception to all other Army posts), the basic training for the Army has grown EXTREMELY weak. 10 reps of any excercise (combined) is all thats allowed in red phase? That means 5 push-ups and 5 side straddle hops. The drill sergeant is no longer breaking people down in order to build them up, we are coaching them. We are told we are going to be looked at more as a mentor than the "old" drill sergeant ways.

After seeing how new soldiers react in Iraq, its obvious that instinct is no longer instilled in soldiers. When a soldier has no clue how to react to an explosion, fire, etc, the military should see that is a huge problem. But no matter how many times several of us have came up to our superiors, its always said that studies were done to prove this way is more efficient at keeping soldiers in the Army. That there were too many recruits dropping out because Basic Training was too stressful. So, my question is, are we breeding more soldiers? or just keeping higher numbers?

Alright, i am not new to Excel. I would consider myself an advanced user i guess. But, i am having the same problem I have been for a while, the same with other people.

When i copy and paste a spreadsheet into excel that has a slash, example 7/1, excel automatically changes it to a date. This does not help me if i am not working with dates. How do i stop excel from changing anything unless it is a formula? If i made the cells text based, i would not be able to add formulas. Changing the entire spreadsheet to text, then changing the unused cells to general is time consuming.

Adding ' in front of the cells also is out of the question when pasting hundreds to thousands of numbers each time.

Hello everyone. Question is about a family's premature baby. It was born 2 months early, so its definitely premature, but far away from the boundaries of medical science. The baby was doing good, as far as premature babies do. It was hooked up to a machine to help with breathing.

My question is i just found out that the baby had seizure like symptoms last night. It tensed up and twitched. Its hard to tell if it is actually a seizure or not just visually, but it is in the hospital right now hooked up to machines waiting for another episode. I understand that premature babies have a very high chance of having motor complications the first few years of life, which could cause stiffness and twitching. Could it be anything other than either motor skill complications or seizures? Anyone out there have a premature baby that does this?

This is not my kid. I don't have any kids. And this kinda scares me because of the increase in premature babies, especially with this lady. She was extra cautious, no smoking no drinking, no lifting, no doing any hard activities, watched what she ate, no loud noises, etc and still had a premature baby.

why would obama pick Howard A. Schmidt? is there something i am not finding about this guy? He doesnt seem like anything special, just another mildly knowledgable guy that people like. All i see that he has done is work for ebay and microsoft. But, I can not find a reason why he would be nominated to be the new cyber cordinator over someone who actually deals more in hacking.

Is there any add-on for either Firefox or Google Chrome that would allow me to change the colors of a website? Lets say change all FF0000 to FFFFFF? This is just an example, i dont want to actually change these particular colors.

I get tired of editing the source of a webpage i visit all the time for work. When i copy and paste from my work website, i would rather just have text a different color, with the background white. BUT, for some reason, my work has a background of green, which does not look presentable when arranging spreadsheets for my clients.

Any ideas other than constantly editing the source over and over? I understand it can be done in excel, but i am looking for a color replacement tool that would consistently change one color to another on all webpages.

I am 24, a drill sergeant candidate, serving in the Army. I went to Iraq in 2005. Ever since about half way through my tour, I started having dreams about zombies. Nothing like a horror movie really, but more like they were a part every day life. There wasnt ever really running from them and barriacading inside a building. But more like going out to save people with a platoon from them, or just going out and capturing them.

Sounds like a little kids dream really. But, it has been going on for over 4 years now. Never really the same dream, just different things. Some things taking place in Iraq, some things taking place at home.

Any suggestions at how to make them stop? They arent really affecting my every day abilities, but just kinda annoying after the 4th year.

Anyone else return to the states with messed up dreams? Why?

If there was an MMORPG zombie game, what would you look for? Would you want it a first person like L4D, and be able to fortify buildings and vehicles? Or a third person like WOW?

What features would you look for in it?

Alright, we have all been to a concert where the singer sounds like a different person than what you buy at the store. Or what you download from lets say Pirate Bay.

One of the defense statements was that Pirate Bay contributes nothing to writers of the music nor the artists that sing the song.

This has nothing to do with the bogus case. It really has something to do with your opinion though. Do you think most singers could be called artists? What art do they do? They dont create anything, the read what someone else has created. They dont act, and most dont sing that well (at least without modifications after the song has been sung).

Alright, I moved my dvd to my laptop and converted it to a .mkv file. Stupid mistake, because now I dont have the orgininal dvd. So, i want to burn it back to dvd. But the default language is german. How do i burn a dvd with a changed audio track? The English audio track is track 2. But, with burn software it doesnt give you the option for different audio tracks. Anyone have any ideas?
