my calculated value is 14.4. the critical value for Z is 1.96 at the 0.05 level

does this mean my results are statistically significant or not?

I have 187 measurements of pairs. but the results are not numbers they are either sensitive or resistant. I tested the same sample using two different meathods and need to see if there is a signigicant different. 166 pairs matched and 11 did not.

How can I work out if there is a significant different

I have 115 samples which I tested using 2 versions of the same method. The results I obtained are resistant or senstitive to 7 different antibiotics.

Which statistical test should I use to analyse them?

I originally thought the Z test for matched pairs because of the 2 situations but now I think ANOVA.

Can anyone help me?
