I am in between two degree choices at the moment. In the future I would like to get a career involving graphic design. The university I will be going to is offering a 5 year degree titled "Graphic Communications Design" which is a very good program. It would prepare me for any graphic design job. But I also am considering a Bachelor's of Fine Arts with a concentration in electronic arts. (I know most people have loads to say about students going for a BFA). But, would this degree make more sense? It would save me money (in Ohio there is a program called College Credit Plus which lets Juniors and Seniors take college classes, which means I would have all of my general education classes out of the way)(the communication design degree didn't have many gen ed courses in the curriculum). It would leave me open to more career options (my degree wouldn't be tailored SPECIFICALLY to graphic design) and some jobs I was looking at require a Bachelor's in "Graphic design, communication, fine arts, or similar"

I am just not sure which I should go for.

It's been on my arms for a few weeks now. I'm hoping it isn't ringworm. New spots keep appearing. They're itchy and scabby. I also have dry patches on my eyelids. I've had eczema before but nothing like this. Thank you.

Way back in kindergarten, I was best friends with a boy. We were really good friends until about third grade, when I became “friends” with a girl. (i do not like this girl anymore)

Me and the boy drifted apart little by little and the girl wouldn't let me be friends with anyone else. I was too young to do much about it.

We still grew up. I'm no longer friends with the girl. A year or two ago I realized I liked this guy as more than a friend.

A few weeks ago I was told he likes me. And I can confirm he does. We are sophomores now.

I really want to get together with him, but he isn't really straightforward (a band geek xD) and he's a little shy around me. I don't think he knows 100% I like him back.

I really don't know how to get around to talking with him. I have his number from Facebook, but I don't think texting him is that great of an idea.

What to do??

My school made everyone do a BMI screening the other day. I am 5'1" and weigh 98.5 lbs. Today I got a letter in the mail saying my BMI was 29!!! They are wrong, right? Did they make a typo or what?

Anyway, I thought this whole screening was ridiculous. They did it in front of everyone. The overweight kids got their weight measured in front of the whole grade. I felt bad for them.

My knees have always had problems since I started running a few years ago. I figured it to be runner's knee. But after a winter's break, I started running track. I've been running two weeks now and didn't notice any problems. But now I do.

It is the same feeling I get all the time when I walk up the stairs at school, like my knee is about to pop out of place and I can't bend it properly. I believe it's because I'm usually carrying heavy books. But now it's all the time, and it only feels (I really can't describe it, weird maybe) if my knee isn't bent. There is a slight, barely noticeable pain.

I'm a freshman in high school...(I know what you're going to say; you have plenty of time, why choose now? Etc...) but I feel like I really need to choose now. I want to go to a post secondary school my junior and senior year and get my associates, but it would really be helpful if I could take a few classes relating to what I want to be! My mom and even my teachers are pushing me to start applying for scholarships and looking at colleges.. I'm number one in my class and intend to stay there. As for interests, I have tons. Computers, biology, animals in general... etc. etc.

I just have no clue.

I have no application yet, I am a freshman. I have a 4.0 GPA, but throughout the rest of highschool I will take honors and college classes to boost it. I took Algebra 1 last year in 8th grade, this year I am taking Geometry. I rank #1 in my class, though it is only of about 100 students for my school is very small. I run cross country and track. I am trying to be number one on my cross country team, but I am number 3 now. I am in Beta Club and FFA, I plan to be in National Honors Society and Spanish Club (That is my foreign language. I am white and female also)

My school offers Post Secondary Education for Juniors and Seniors, I plan to attend college during those years.

I'm not sure what else to add, and I understand my being accepted is very slim, but I would just like to know. And would you possibly inform me of less demanding yet high ranked schools I might be accepted into?

It would help me tons if you simply stated an emotion down below. This is for a science fair.

From before Kindergarten to the 2nd grade, I was best friends with a guy. We would do everything together, until I became "friends" with this girl whom I do not like anymore. She wouldn't let me be friends with anyone else, but I was too young to realize. Me and the guy drifted apart and the older I got, the more I missed him. I was too shy to try and redeem our friendship until now. It's my freshman year in highschool and we're finally becoming friends again, just the only problem is, do I want to be more than friends? All I want is a little advice, please. :(

For the past month, the inside of my lower leg, right along the bone has hurt very badly whenever I run. I stretch the calf muscle and ice it after running yet it never gets better, it actually gets worse. I read that it could be shin splints but I have regular arches and my friend, who has extremely high arches is.also experiencing the same problems, but not.as severe. What is this???

I covet to thank them, ask them questions, and provide them knowledge of our country today.

Okay, so I run cross country and I wore some thin socks one day and got a small callus on each of my big toes. I have a meet on Tuesday. Should I get them off or keep them?

I know that keeping them will help in any other time that they rub, but they are tender and start hurting when I run. What can I do to stop the pain, if I keep them?

Okay I am 13, am 5' tall, ordered a pair of charcoal 10 inch bearpaw boots, a pair of adidas slip on shoes, and I am very slim. I weigh 78 pounds, I am not skinny though. No busts yet maybe an inch. Okay I dated this guy for a month and I'm just thirteen, he was my first boyfriend, and I'm kinda shy.

So I guess he kinda forced things. He wanted to hold hands the first week or something, I didn't know what to do so I just did but I didn't like him all that much. I didn't really know he existed until cross-country. He's shorter than me, by an inch or two and he was in the 8th grade I was in 7th, I'm 4'9".

He had problems with his teeth, idk they were all dark. I guess I shouldn't of went out with him in the first place. He said I love you to me after like the second week.

So then a month later he wanted to kiss me. I really didn't want to. So I didn't then it got really awkward for a week and he broke up with me. I didn't cry or anything.

What do you think I should have done? (I am smart, pretty[ or so he said], and short)

I'm wondering if there is a name that means scared, or timid, or jumpy for a pet mouse. It's a girl and she's black. I want a plant name but any will do.

Okay I just started over and sadly deleted my level 100 arcanine from heart gold.

Anyway I have 3 definite pokemon so far. I'm just looking for a team that will get me through all the gyms with ease.

So the annoying orange was cute and hilarious on youtube. Now Cartoon Network came out with a show of the annoying orange. I decided to watch a few minutes of it and it SUCKED! Nothing annoying. NOTHING. What do you guys think?
