  • How to transfer game content from one Kindle to another?

I received a Kindle Keyboard from my cousin because he got a Fire and didn't want his old Kindle anymore. So, I registered it on my account and then the case broke and I needed to order a replacement. So, I got the replacement and now I want to transfer the games that my cousin had purchased on the original Kindle to the replacement. I cannot figure out how to do it since I don't show the games purchased on my Amazon account. Shouldn't I be able to move the games from the Kindle to my Amazon and then sync back to my other Kindle? Or maybe archive the games and then pull them up on my new Kindle? I'm afraid to perform an archive because the process involves deleting the item first and I'm afraid if I do that I might never get it back again. Want to make sure first that this can be done. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm a Kindle newbie.

  • Can I properly use Outlook for a shared gmail account?

Hi, I set up a shared gmail account in MS Outlook 2007. It's an account for our church youth group that I share with another leader. Ever since I configured our Outlooks with that one account I am the only one who is able to get emails through Outlook. I realized that it's because I always have my Outlook opened and she doesn't. It appears that The Gmail servers will only route emails to one Outlook. If I close my Outlook and she opens hers, then she starts getting the emails. Is there a way to set it up so that we can both get our Gmails emails simultaneously in Outlook? I know that we can just open gmail to access it, but for reasons I don't want to go into here, it's much easier for us to see all of our emails through Outlook rather than have to open a browser every time. Thanks for any advice.

  • should I uninstall limewire now that it's being sued again?

I am still getting results on searches in Limewire even though it's saying that there is an injunction and it's been shut down. Should I uninstall the software or does it matter? They probably already have my IP address to know that I installed it to begin with, right?

  • help with Toslink cable?

Pardon my ignorance on this, but I need to connect a sound bar to my Philips LCD TV that doesn't have audio out jacks for some dumb reason. So i'm trying to use the SPDIF jack instead. I bought this adapter

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FMXKC8/ref=cm...

thinking it would do the trick, but the end that goes into the TV (which is the male end) is too big. Are there different sizes of mini adapters? I would love someone to help me out here. I've had this soundbar for 2 months and am unable to use it.

  • Do I need to run a backup before upgrading to MS Office 2007?

I've got a friend's laptop with me to upgrade her to Office 07 from 03. I'm scared to start the upgrade for fear I will do something and ruin her entire computer. Is there anything I need to make sure that I do before I start the process?

  • What is a cheap alternative to buying a $50 TV cover for my outdoor TV?

I have a 32" LCD TV that I paid only $350 for. I know I need to protect it from the elements, even though it's under a brick lanai. Florida rains are harsh. I was just looking on line and these things average about $50. That's ridiculous. Has anyone else found a cheaper alternative? I was thinking about something like a grill cover.

  • Bose Companion 2 speakers won't work after reassembling computer?

I have the Bose Companion 2 system. I just moved my computer to a new house and had to take my computer apart and rehook it up. I cannot get any sound from my speakers now. I had this same problem when I first hooked up the speakers, and it ended up being that I needed to reboot the computer after plugging it in to get it going. I’ve tried that to no avail. I’m 99% certain that the system was gently handled on the move, so I don’t think they are broken. I tried sticking the plug into all 3 of the possible connections in the back of my computer. Sometimes I get that loud feedback noise right when I plug in but never any sound. Tried internet, music folder, email....nothing. I haven't changed a single setting on my computer and it was down for about 4 hours in between the move. Any help would be very much appreciated.

  • Why can't I set up new Webkinz party due to parameter error?

My daughter is unable to complete the setup for the new party option on Webkinz. It's hard enough finding an open date to schedule the party, and every time she does and gets through the invitations and finishes the setup it says "OOPS.... you do not have right parameters or they are empty." Then it voids the whole setup so she loses the date. She's getting really frustrated. Any help on what she is doing wrong would be much appreciated.

  • MS Excel Text Import Wizard Question?

Does anyone know how to save the settings of a text import wizard on Microsoft Excel I create so that I can use it for future imports? (I'm using Excel 2003.) I am importing wireless CIBER records that are basically 1000 string numbers that need to be separated into about 75 columns. I don't want to have to count the columns for every file I import. Thanks for any help.

  • Anyone know how to remove the blinking lights from my kid's shoes?

I bought my kid a comfy pair of shoes and she likes them but came home the other day saying that she was being made fun of because she blinked. She's only in 1st grade. Dang. Kids can be cruel.

Anyway, it's too late to return them since they've been worn outside so I want to make them stop blinking for her. Does anyone know how to take the blink out of blinking shoes?

  • Can someone please help me fix guitar amp?

    http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd128/tferro/IM...

We bought my daughter an electric guitar with a little Dinosaur DG-10 amp for Christmas, and within two weeks the amp stopped working. There is no sound at all, not even crackling or hissing, even when the cord is jiggled. It turns on with the red light and all. I don't think it's the cord because I tried plugging in one of our karaoke mics and it has no sound either. If the speaker were blown wouldn't it be making some sort of noise at least? I took off the back and all the wires seem to be in tact. I've posted a picture in case someone is handy with this stuff. It all looks foreign to me, but I can follow directions. I paid $40 bucks for this stinking amp, but unfortunately I got it off eBay and can't return it. Thanks for any help. Terri

  • Does anyone know what this part of the pool is called?

    http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd128/tferro/Po...

I'm trying to figure out what they call the circled part in the picture I've posted. It's the part above the liner lock strip. It's gotten little deteriorated holes in it that I need to repair. I can't do a proper search though, since I don't know what it's called. If anyone knows how to repair this part, that info would be much appreicated as well.

    Thanks, Terri

  • For young girls 10 and under - What are your favorite songs?

I'm throwing a pool party for my 8 year old daughter, and we have a karaoke machine, and I'm a member of a site where I can download any karaoke song ever created for free. I'd like to make some discs for the girls, but I can only go off what my daughter likes, which is High School Musical, Miley Cyrus, and Jonas Brothers. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Any suggestions on what to get the coaches of softball team to thank them?

I'm team mom for my 8 year old daughter's softball team. We are ordering participation trophies for the girls, but I have no idea what to get the coaches to thank them for their hard work. Is a personalized plaque with the team picture a good idea or is that cheesy? What other suggestions that aren't too expensive?
