Recently I have had a infection called pityriasis rosea, which is caused by a virus, it is meant to affect areas such has the chest but not the face, and it has basically cleared up now but I have now got a very dry face which is all over my neck, face and my eyelids and scalp.

I was wondering if anyone could tel me why this is happening.

It can be itchy and does not look very attractive to have skin flaking off my face all the time.

My face has now been like this for about a week.

and had the orginal infection for about 3weeks.

can some one please help and give me any suggestion on what i should do?

Hi, I have messd up the usb ports on my computer by uninstalling the drivers trying to fix another problem and i now cannot get passed my log in screen because i cannot press ctrl alt delete.

Yes i have tried sp2 keyboard but after the loading screen both keyboards stop working.

So I am trying to repair the OS so hopefully this will fix the problem but have couple of questions.

Will this delete any data or programs from the machine?

Will this even fix my problem?

Do you know what caused the problem in the first place?

Really greatful for any answers because this is a work machine that i have broken and need to fix it before the boss finds out!

I am currently using a iomega 150d NAS and this is old and has become slow.

I am looking for a replacement but i do not know much about NAS as I am working in a small office and i did not purchase the old 1.

I am looking for a fast and reliable device that will be holding upto 2tb of important company data.

I have been asked to do some research on these devices and determine the best replacement for the company, but because i have not had any experience with NAS can anybody please suggest some devices and links to reviews and website if possible.

I have a budget of around £800.

Well stupid mistake, was trying to fix usb ports at work because aparantly they giv blue screen of death so wasnt expecting for the keyboard and mouse to be plugged into them.

So i started uninstalling the drivers then the keyboard and mouse stopped working, i new what i had done, so i got a ps2 mouse and keyboard and restarted.

THEN......The Ctrl Alt Del screen came up for login, but the ps2 keyboard goes off before it gets to this screen! The mouse works but no keayboard!!!!!

What can i do?

HELP PLEASE?

Me and my dad have now had a bad stomach ache and upset stomach for 4days? Does anybody know what this could be because it can really hurt at random times during the day. I have not been to doctors yet and was wondering if i need to?

So, i met this girl on holiday nothing happened(last year) and she happened to working in my town for the last couple of days so i went and said hello. My girlfriend then rang me while i was talking to her and said come back now youve been over there for ages (10mins) so i say ive got to go and go back over.

My girlfriend then says shes going to the toilet wth her m8 and then this girl frm holiday txts me saying so which is your gf? bcus my gf had obviously gone to check up on who i was talking to, so i txt the girl back saying and she text back going i dont thnk she likes me, and i was like no i dnt thnk she does shes in a mood now lol.

My gf then ask to borrow my phone, she then goes on my texts from this girl( i had nothing to hide) but then text her back without me knowing saying something and then deleted the messages all of them even the ones i sent. I asked my gf about it and she was like i didnt delete them. So i knew she was lying.

So after this i was pissed of bcus she had lied to me, ad also bcus she obviously doesnt trust me. We had a massive fall out i didnt talk to her all day after this.

We then make up the next day, i go home and shes text me saying you best delete her off your facebook and your phone!

This made me really angry bcus to me this is just showing thats she is jelous of someone i dont really know and this girl off holiday has a boyfriend and she was working with him when i said hello. this isnt the first time she just generally doesnt like me tlking to girls although most of her friends are lads and i dont cry everytime she talks to a guy.

So what shall i do? I havnt seen her in 2days now or really spoken bcus i sed we need time apart. Did i do the right thing? and what should i do now?

We have been together for about 5years she is 18 im 20.

I used to be able to open a file straight off the NAS but now i have to copy it to my desktop to open it otherwise it takes forever or just doesn't work. This takes up time and it never used to run this slow. The drive is under half capacity at the moment. The drive did reach full capacity and thought this was the problem but when I removed some of the files stored nothing changed and continued to be slow. It is connected to 4 desktops through a Sitecom 8port network switch - Model No. LN-119 v1 001.

The 4 desktops (all different makes) are running different operating systems Windows XP and Vista and also are running different versions of software which i am using e.g excel and access. (Don't know if this would make a difference)

I have used the software that came with the NAS and used Fix Drive option and also updated it to the latest firmware.

The options i came up with are:

1, Format and restart?

2, Update all PC's with same software (stab in the dark)

3, Defragment (but not sure if possible on NAS)

4, Scrap it and get a new 1?

Can anyone help?

I have a wireless router connected to my PC downstairs but my the signal isnt good enough to reach my phone upstairs and i have a spare router so was wondering if i could plug it in my room and if it would still work along with the other router?

what is the best PC brand for reliability and performance and hardware.

I usually go for a dell but have had a sony vaio laptop and that was a disappointment and is still sitting in my room now fried because i dnt wnt to give up a £700 laptop that is possibly fixable.

So your views on the best desktop would be appreciated .
