  • I have a Gas furnace problem can anyone help?

My natural gas furnace does this: igniter starts, flame comes on, blower comes on. there is a click and flame goes out. About 20 secs later (while blower is still running) igniter starts, flame comes on. stays lite for about 45-60 secs, there is a click, flame goes out. It repeats this cycle over and over. Home does not get even warm. I have read that there is a sensor that might be dirty. I blew the area out with air but no change. Any HVAC guys out there willing to give advice?

    Thank you.

  • If you voted for Bush now what do you say?

Former Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge says he successfully countered an effort by senior Bush administration officials to raise the nation's terror alert level in the days before the 2004 presidential vote. So did the means justify the result? Was it ok to falsely panic the people to get more votes? Former Vice President Dick Cheney believes his old boss, President George W. Bush, gradually turned away from his advice during their second term in the White House. If you can't trust your VP why did you pick him? The war in Iraq was a failure of intelligence. The government's response to Katrina—like the failure to anticipate that terrorists would fly into buildings on 9/11—was a failure of imagination. Within 24 hours of the storm's arrival, Bush needed to be able to imagine the scenes of disorder and misery that would, two days later, shock him when he watched the evening news. He needed to be able to see that New Orleans would spin into violence and chaos very quickly if the U.S. government did not take charge—and, in effect, send in the cavalry, which in this case probably meant sending in a brigade from a combat outfit, like the 82nd Airborne, based in Fort Bragg, N.C., and prepared to deploy anywhere in the world in 18 hours. Are you still proud of your choice? A quote from Bush just before he left office. Losing a job is painful, and I know Americans are concerned about our economy; so am I. It's clear our economy has slowed, but the good news is, we anticipated this and took decisive action to bolster the economy, by passing a growth package that will put money into the hands of American workers and businesses." March 7 on news that the economy lost 63,000 payroll jobs in February. Since then 750,000 jobs were lost per week and we had a $1.3 trillion deficit. I want to know who still says they are proud of their choice. Or will you just stick your head in the sand? As far as many of us feel, you let America down with your vote. Please Don't blow it again.

  • Is there a dog trainer out there? Need advice please!?

I have a 2 yr old blood hound. Most of the time he is a total sweet heart. The problem I have with him is his aggression around food and when people come over, Around his food, he growls when ever someone approaches him. I also have a 9 m old lab mix female. He refuses to let her eat. He will take over her bowl as well as his own. I had them both fixed 3 m ago. but his aggression still remains. When people come over he acts vicious until they come out side. Then after he smells them for a while he settles down. I would never consider getting rid of him but I do want him to stop. One time he was growling as I walked by when he was eating and I grabbed him by the snout and yelled no! As soon as I let go he lunged at me and tried to bite. After that he cowered as if he knew it was wrong. It's frustrating and I guess what Im asking is if you know of a technique tho make things better. By the way, as a puppy he was not like this at all. It seemed to have started about a year ago or so when I was mixing in canned food with his dry food. I stopped giving him any kind of meat in hopes he would revert back to the way he was. But instead he has gotten worse. Any ideas for practice on a daily basis?

  • Why do you think Gov. Sara Palin stepped down today?

The considered lame-duck Gov. Palin announced that she is stepping down and will not seek re-election. She has been under fire lately for what has been called trooper-gate. It costs the taxes payers of Alaska over 2 million to research her involvement. She also spent over a half a mil on her defense. But what do you think?

  • What would you do if your brother was a pedophile but...?

What would you do if your brother was a pedophile but you had no proof? My brother is now in his 50s. He was introduced to homosexuality by out of all people, his psychiatrist. They had sex with under age boys several times between the two of them. Although I only caught him in the act once when he was about 24, I promptly grabbed is lover by the hair and thew him out of the house naked. Back then I did not tolerate any type of homosexual behavior. I have since completely changed my out look about homosexuality but not pedophilia. Iam not gay but I think it is just fine for people who are. I've only seen him run around with teen age boys his whole life. His psychiatrist is now dead but from what I hear he trolls the internet constantly looking to meet new teen aged boys. So I guess my question really is if none of the boys report him, how can anyone make it stop?

  • How do you get rid of fungus gnats?

You know those pesky little flies that breed in your house plants. They buzz by constantly. I tried gnattrol (an expensive product that only kills some of them) and drying out the plants is sometimes worse because you lose the plat. Any other ideas?
