Voting on Y!A?? In the Education & Reference Section...?
In this section, which includes categories like Homework Help, Higher Education, Words & Wordplay, etc, there are many questions that have not been voted on.
440 pages x 20 questions per page = 8800 total questions in voting.
If 100 Y!A users each voted on 88 questions in the next 24-48 hours, I wonder how many we could resolve? Will you join me in voting more often? (It doesn't have to be a lot. As few as ten questions a day would be significant.
1 AnswerHomework Help9 years agoHow much do you know about seafood?
I enjoyed taking this seafood quiz from the National Geographic site (didn't do as well as I thought I would).

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoA question for Lenten observance...?
Are we like Judas, who was so overcome by his sin that he could not believe in God's mercy any longer and hanged himself? Or are we like Peter, who returned to his Lord with repentance and cried bitterly for his sins?
Our temptation in Lent is to be so impressed by our sins and failings and so overwhelmed by our lack of generosity that we get stuck in a paralyzing guilt, a guilt that leads to introspection instead of directing our eyes to God. It is guilt that becomes an idol and form of pride. But Lent is precisely the time to break down this idol and to direct our attention to our loving Lord. "Renewed for Life" by Henri Nouwen
"Have mercy on me, Oh God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions." Psalm 51:1
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoDid you get home from church today and have a favorite song still singing in your head?
For me it was "A Shelter in the Time of Storm" (arrangement by Michael Joncas)
Its number 441 in the ocp Music Issue, if you've got one around he house.
Tell me yours! (leave a link if you can find it on YouTube or another site)
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs there a limit to how often you can leave comments on Y!Answers?
I seem to be at a point where I can no longer add comments to resolved questions. What are some of the possible reasons why this would happen? Is it temporary? Is it just me?

Have you used an IM or chat service at a public or college library website? Was it helpful?
Examples of chat services:
1 AnswerOther - Education1 decade agoWe need some people voting to break ties in the Education and Reference section - how about it?
Its an easy point for each best answer selected. People appreciate seeing their question/answers resolved. It also brings up the best answer percentage for those who are good at answering and brings down the best answer percentage for those who are being rude, sarcastic or otherwise unhelpful. Thanks.
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoDo you think a survey of voter participation in the United States and the factors that influence higher or?
lower participation rates would make a good topic for a research paper or informative speech? How about tying in voter participation on YahooAnswers? Please include source links in your response.
2 AnswersHomework Help1 decade agoVoting for tiebreakers ?
Two questions really... is there a way to narrow your selection of tiebreakers to vote on by date - but more specifically than oldest to newest? (6-8 months ago, for instance)
Why is it that a question in the answer category will be labeled as two years old. Then, when you select that question to view the answers they are labeled as tiebreaker "1 year ago"?
4 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhy are YahooAnswers people so lazy or unable to search for answers that already exist on this site?
Its sooooooo easy! Do you see the "search for questions" box? I see the same questions being asked over and over and over and over. To ask again is to waste people's time and makes this site not nearly as helpful or fun as it could be. Grow up and take responsibility for your own learning!!

Approximate numbers are okay. I'd like someone "official" to answer this one, please.
Thank you!
3 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoI'm in Southern California and I have some narcissus which didn't bloom this year....?
I fed them with vermitea (worm tea from a local compost bin) and with bulb food from the local nursery.
I'm wondering if I should keep them in the ground again this year or just toss them. Any ideas about getting them to flower again next year? (last year's display was terrific!) Thanks.
