My ex husband physically abused me, so I moved out the next day with our kids. A police report was made. He then moved them out of state while I was at work one night (graveyard shift), without my knowledge. I was the primary parent, he hated to be at home with the kids, and always found an excuse to leave. He kept them from me for three months till I joined the army. Just before I left for basic he told me he wanted to attempt to be a family again, I agreed to the situation in the best interest of our kids (dumb move I know). Then after I got out of bct and ait, he said he didn’t want to move to my duty station and said he wanted a divorce, I agreed (he cheated a lot while I was gone). He got a lawyer and I couldn’t afford one. I ended up with supervised visitation only by default (I was in the field just after the papers were “served” and ran out of time). He lied to the courts about several things when he filed for the divorce. He has not abided by the divorce decree at all when it comes to my visitation. He and our two kids share a bedroom at his mom’s house and he has been receiving child support for almost a year and he doesn’t have a stable job. He won’t allow any of my family or me to see them or even talk to them. I am now remarried and in Iraq. I need some advice to get my babies back.

ok heres the deal, im the oldest of three girls, my mother is a alcoholic when shes off drugs. i basically raised my two younger sisters. we all have different dads, and only one of them has had any part in our life. my youngest sister has lived with me off and on for the past 6 years, till i joined the army. since i left for basic she has started failing in school, picked up smoking weed, and cigarettes, drinking alcohol, and now having sex, shes 13! worst of all her mother was allowing her to do it!!! i heard through the grape vine my mother is starting to get some help and doing better but my sister is already going down the wrong path. our mother is supposed to be going to rehab for 30 days, leaving my sister with some guys she just met (like within the last month) from church!! im leaving for iraq soon, and i dont know how to help my sister. what can i do? i have tried to talk to her, and bribe her. shes at the age where shes starting to rebel, and i dont want her to turn out like my mother.

my husband and i are dual military. he has two kids from a previous relationship. just resently thier mother died. we are both supposed to deploy in november, but now we have no family care plan, does anyone know the guidlines on one of us staying behind to care for the children?

my husband has a son from a previous relationship, today is his birthday. i havent met his son yet or even talked to him. his mother hates me, i dont know why. my hubby doesnt really like to talk about him and i dont know if i should get him a gift, or even sign the card?? i dont know if any one conciders me his step mother..... help, please.

my hubby and i are in the army, and we're scheduled to deploy soon. my first deployment. i really want to deploy not only because i think the experience is good, and the money is amazing, but also because in the army regardless of your rank the only way to get true respect is with a combat patch. i cant deploy if im pregnant, and we really really really want a baby. i cant decide if i should deploy and wait to have a baby or just do it now. he said he is ready whenever i am. but i cant decide. help?

i have a surround sound/dvd player, a tv(of course), ps3 and cable. how can i hook them up to where i get surround on all of them? right now all i have is surround when i watch dvds or listen to music.

my hubby is puerto rican, and i read about the tradition to make a name out of ours but i have a real boyish name... how do you make a good name from devin and alejandro? help!
