My dog has suddenly stopped pottying?
We just moved from Dallas to New York City (we literally just got here last night). We drove up, and my dog always peed when we stopped to get out and stretch. It didn't seem to be a problem. Now today, he has suddenly stopped going. He's eaten and had water to drink, and we've taken him out several times but he still hasn't gone. We're coming from a house with a yard to an apartment in a neighborhood with basically no grass. I know he's doesn't know what to think and he's used to pottying on grass, but I'm getting concerned because he hasn't done anything since yesterday. He keeps walking around the apartment as if he's looking for somewhere to go but as far as I can see, he hasn't done it. I know it's all likely anxiety related to the move and the completely different environment but what can I do to get him to go outside in this new and strange neighbohood?
3 AnswersDogs10 years agoWhy do old email addresses auto fill in yahoo mail?
Specifically, why do the addresses of old email contacts (no longer in my contacts) still pop up when I start to enter a name? I've deleted these contacts and replaced them with new addresses for those contacts but the old addresses still populate, along with the new, when I type the person's name. I no longer want those old email addresses to come up.
1 AnswerCalendar and Contacts10 years agoWhat is a good media player for various forms of media?
I want to invest in a media player to free up some storage on my laptop. But I need one that can not only store photos, but also play Mp3's and Mp4's, as well as video files in the WMV, AVI, and FLV formats. Does anyone have any suggestions?
1 AnswerOther - Electronics1 decade agoPrivacy settings not saving correctly?
Ok, I wanted to change my privacy settings so some people I know can't send me messages (I didn't want to block them--just keep them from messaging me). I went into privacy settings, then to search options, and unclicked the box under "People who can see me in search can see..." for "a link to send me a message." I then saved it, and it said my changes had been saved. After that, I logged out and logged in under my friends account (who is not on my friends list), and did a search for myself. My profile came up, but it still had the link to send me a message. Am I doing something wrong? All I want to do is keep people who aren't friends from sending me messages, without blocking them completely, and when I change the setting, it saves but apparently isn't working. HELP!
1 AnswerFacebook1 decade agoFacebook privacy question?
Is there a way to make your Facebook profile private while your status updates are public? Also, my profile on facebook is set to be viewable by my network and friends. Recently, someone I know joined Facebook and searched for my profile.(She is not yet on my friends list). She was unable to view any part of my profile. However, another person I know, who is also not on my friends list, was able to look at, at least, my status updates. Both people are in my network, but neither are on my friends list. How is this possible?
2 AnswersFacebook1 decade agoDoes anyone know of contraceptive device other than condoms that is safe for smokers?
I am looking for a form of birth control, other than condoms, diaphrams, or cervical caps, that is fairly effective but is also safe for someone who smokes. Any ideas?
1 AnswerWomen's Health1 decade agoHow do I stop my 5 month old lab from yelping like a rabid beast in the mornings?!?
I recently adopted a pound puppy so my 6 month old pug could have a companion. One of the problems is that every morning around 5 or 6, she starts crying, which turns into yelping and she starts to sounds like she's screaming. She starts freaking out to where she's crying so loudly you can hear it outside, she's shaking her kennel, and yipping and barking. At first I thought she just needed to go potty but that isn't it. Does anyone have any ideas about to stop this? I got my pug when he was 8 weeks old and he never did this. He cried at night when he was put in his kennel but that was it. The lab only does this in the early, early morning.
4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoHow can I stop my puppies from biting each other?
I have a 6 month old male Pug and just a few days ago adopted a 5 month old female black lab. They play constantly but my concern is that the play is so aggressive. They bite each other more than anything else, and my fear is that the lab will hurt my pug. I know it has only been a few days, but I hate seeing the "playful aggression" between them. Any suggestions?
